DOES/WILL RIOT TAKE IDEAS FROM OTHER GAMES FOR CHAMPIONS? IDEAS? @RIOT

I don't make very many discussions, but I was just wondering, does riot consider what people are enjoying in other games for concepts in characters. I'm not talking about blatant copying, just taking inspiration from other games. As an example I believe that League and Overwatch are not competitors but, both adding to the gaming industry. Could Riot ever decide that, a character that is entirely based around hacking or the silencing of abilities like Sombra from Overwatch?

Would people get upset if Riot Created there own hacker. I would love a champion with the ability to silence like Sombra, personally.

Yes a hacker would be a little bit out of the ordinary but hextech devices or old Shuriman magic, given to a character that was banished from the land for using twisted magic, would be Very Very Cool.

So I guess i'm wondering if @Riot has decided that inspiration from other games is okay? Have @Riot already been working on champions with inspiration from other places like camille and kingsman. :) Thanks for Reading :P

Well Designs have to fit into the Lore/univers and I doubt a Hacker would fit into runeterra concidering there isnt that high Technology. The highest is hextech and thats Not Close to hackable

Considering Riot's stance on silences I doubt that such a champion will get made. Themewise a hacker would be pretty lost in Valeron as well.

this is the exact reason why veigar is my favorite. he reminds me of the dark mage that you fight in the Zelda handheld games.

Exactly a dark feeling that reminds you of other games would be Amazing. I would play a character that is like a utility assasin not to much damage but sneaks up on the enemy team and silences all enemies in a radius for a set time, also having multiple mobilty options, it would be a great counter to brawler, tank and assassin meta's because of the disrution of there abilities and combos. Riot could make the champions ult on the shorter duration but have it even disable items such as thornmail. idk its just an idea that I hope riot could shed some light on.
