Riot, any chance of a Blitzcrank VGU?

I think that, of all League's champions, Blitzcrank's design is among the most dated, both visually and mechanically. Which is a shame, because his concept - a hulking metal golem - has so much potential.

Visually - he looks way too goofy and impractical; his arms are oversized and his legs are miniscule so that he walks like a cartoon penguin, and his general aesthetic is cliche steampunk, like a discount Iron Giant. His in-game model is also bland and simple, lacking texture and color variation.

Mechanically - his kit revolves around his q, which is so powerful that the rest of his kit has to be weak to compensate. If someone is good at hitting his q, they excel at him, and make him an absolute horror show to play against. If someone is bad at hitting his q, they are unable to really impact the game in any meaningful way. With so much hinging on a single ability, Blitzcrank plays as a very one-dimensional champion.

I'd like his in-game options diversified so that he can attack enemy champions in more than one way. Maybe decrease the power of his q and make his other abilities less dependent on it. I'd also like his appearance updated into something that looks less cartoony, and more formidable - something that Viktor would plausibly create. It would be cool if he was reimagined as a kind of abandoned, half-finished metal colossus, rusted and with wires hanging out, who has tried to complete himself by nailing chunks of debris to his form.

So what say you Riot? Any plans to upgrade ol' Blitz?
