Geb

So i do play Smite sometimes because it's a pretty fun game and has a lot of balanced gods with a variety of play styles. One god i play the most is Geb, a tanky support god that uses cc in fights. I was thinking after seeing some posts about how crits should work and then seeing posts about how tanks can't do anything in their current state, it made me think back to Geb. See geb's passive is that he takes only 25% of crit damage rather than the full 100% making him really good against ad comps and hard counter atleast one person on the team (sorta like rammus) so i was thinking this passive could be used for another champion in league though the rest of his kit isn't what i'm talking about i just think that this passive would make for a great ad tank.

No. That'd make him extremely powerful vs one class (marksman, and melee adcs if we are being specific) while having literally zero effect on anyone else. In addition, look at this.

A normal crit is 2x damage (2.5x with IE). 100 armor makes this 1 (or 1.25x) with a crit. 25% damage taken from a crit is .5x (or .625x with IE). This passive basically gives 200 armor verse critical strikes, but only if they strike (which also gives the frankly stupid scenario where getting a critical hit does LESS damage than a normal hit). This literally makes him invalidate anyone crit based (Yasuo sure will love doing... .5625x damage WITH IE every strike verse this guy) while having no passive verse anyone else (yeah, that blue build ezreal sure gives a crap that you defend against crits).
