Urf as a Possible Champion?
I heard of theories on Senna, Lucian's wife, possibly being a champ and I totally support it. In fact reading up on Lucian's story and seeing his small cinematic I honestly believe it can be very possible. Now that I think about it though this can also be the perfect setup for Riot to actually put Urf in the game as it would catch everyone off guard. Though Urf was an April Fools joke there's no denying that he was legitimately in the lore at a time, is referenced many times through skins, has an appreciation and respect for the champ Jax, and even has a choice of weapon (spatula) and even had a moveset set up for the joke. The only hole in this is that Urf is supposingly confirmed to be "dead" thanks too the old lore. For those who don't know its believed in the lore (Though no one in the LoL universe is sure though it is likely) warwick went and killed Urf. The warwick urf skin is a reference to this.
Anyhow I suppose if Riot really wanted to they can redo the lore and make it so that Urf never actually died and had defended himself against warwick or whatever killed him if they want to keep it a mystery. If you read the old lore I feel that it was even hinted that Urf may come back to life. In the lore a scientist says out loud that with some studying and experimentation he may be able to revive Urf back to life. Of course that was looked down upon by many in the universe cause you shouldn't mess with spirits and the dead like that etc. Anyhow quick lesson on Urf lore aside introducing him as a new champ for the 10th anniversary would be fitting as Urf is practically an iconic character in the game. If not the 10th anniversary it would definitely make a good April Fools joke. Announce Urf as a champ and make people guess again if this is for real or not. Riot can even play around the idea and make new lore explaining as to why Urf can't currently be in the League for universe reasons. Then blindside us with an Urf reveal out of nowhere. Better yet they can hint at it and then completely blindside us with Urf. Now that I think about it is Summoner's RIft even part of the new lore anymore? Well either how it would be neat if they did something with that, but if they were to keep Urf as more of a mascot I'd get why. If I had to really guess though Urf as a champ would be more of a gift for those who had played league for a long time rather than those who are starting out.
