Passive - Scarred : Vindicarin vows not to let his allies be scarred like him. After every 4th basic ability cast, Vindicarin can choose to auto attack an ally or an enemy. If an ally is struck, they gain a small shield and are healed for the auto attack’s damage. If this attack crits, the ally also gains a burst of movement speed that decays over a few seconds. If an enemy is struck, they are slowed by a % of the auto attack’s damage. If this attack crits, they are also afflicted with grievous wounds.
Q - Thirst : Vindicarin shoots a vampiric shell at his target. This ability applies the Ravenous buff to allies and the Vulnerable debuff to enemies.
Ravenous : This unit has increased movement speed and heals itself and Vindicarin for a portion of all damage dealt by this unit.
Vulnerable : This unit has been crippled and is vulnerable, having reduced movespeed and receiving extra damage from all sources.
W - Skilled Strike : Vindicarin adds a stack to a passive and prepares to skillfully strike his target (can target allies or enemies), taking .5 seconds to find a weak point on it. This attack will always critically strike, but it also prevents Vindicarin from using any abilities for the next 2 seconds. If Skilled Strike’s target is an ally and Vindicarin does not have Scarred available, the attack will leech attack damage and movement speed from Vindicarin to his target over the 2 seconds in which Vindicarin cannot cast.
E - No Mercy : Vindicarin takes 1 second to load a large bullet into his chamber. After the round is loaded, it can be fired out in any direction up to 1000 units away, dealing a small amount of damage to enemies and creating a very small zone that grants movement speed to all allies and applies the Vulnerable debuff to all enemies that pass through it.
R - Focus : Vindicarin chooses an enemy and locks his focus on them for 2 seconds. During this time, Vindicarin is overwhelmed by his rage and anguish, granting him maximum attack speed, increased range, and bonus damage towards his target. However, these attacks cannot crit and Vindicarin cannot attack anyone else during this time period. After Focus expires, Vindicarin stops firing for 1.5 seconds and comes back to his senses, giving all surrounding allies a morale boost, granting them increased movement speed that decays over time.
Lore “I was punished for doing what was right.”
Vindicarin wasn’t always known by this name. His life started out with the name Yone. He wasn’t very notable in any way, accept the fact that he was the brother of the village’s local prodigy, Yasuo. His brother was known to be one of few who could master the wind. Yone, however, was keen to no particular skill. He could fight with a sword, but never came even close to the level of mastery his brother had achieved. However, the tides changed as Yone’s village was attacked by Noxus. Yasuo was told to protect the elder of the village, but decided his blade would be of more use in the battlefield. After the invasion had ended, the village grieved in anguish, as their elder had been slain. Yasuo was charged not only with abandoning the elder, but also with the murder itself.
Yasuo fled, only to be chased by his own village. He fought his way out of most troubles, but in the end, Yone caught up to him. With respect to their code of honor, they both bowed and drew their swords. In the end, however, Yone was no match for Yasuo’s blade, and he fell, defeated. He had been punished by fate for doing what was right. He had lost his only chance at escaping his brother’s ever-lingering shadow. Yasuo buried him, out of respect for his brother, and then set off. Yone, however, never really died.
Yone’s soul left his body, wandering the lands in hope for new life, which it found in an Ionian marksman’s body. The marksman had recently fallen to a Noxian army, as Yone’s village once had. Yone’s soul brought new life to the soldier. He avoided human contact until he had created a new version of himself. He had imbued himself with the spirits and energy of the surrounding Ionian forest, growing a mask of bark and wood that would forever hide him from this body’s true identity. He assumed a new name ; Vindicarin.
Vindicarin then started experimenting with different essences and mixtures that would allow him to take revenge upon his brother should he ever meet him again. His sciences soon allowed him to make very unique ammunition types that could not only harm enemies, but assist his allies as well. With his new found power, Vindicarin set out to join the League of Legends, where he sought to find and defeat his brother, once and for all.
