Ignis, Armored Beast of the Inferno

The tiger helplessly clawed at the bars of his cage. The neglected beast looked around, desperate for any form of nourishment. He was starving and dehydrated, and his owners continued to neglect him. Hours went by, and he finally grew aware that he could not escape; the bars would not budge. The beast rested his head on the ground in defeat and started to sleep.

When he awoke, the tiger was in the back of a truck. As he looked around, all he could make out in the silent darkness were the bars. The dreaded pieces of metal that stopped him from escaping his endless confinement. He resented his owners; he wanted to kill them. No, destroy them. He wanted to end their lives mercilessly: a gesture to return how they treated him.

Where was he? What were they doing to him? As he looked around, all the tiger could see was burning. The blaze spread throughout the unfamiliar room, and and the beast feared for his life. The sweltering heat was too much for him, and the flames covering his fur slowly began to spread around his body. This was it. This was how it would end. Then, as if on cue, everything went black.

Well, the tiger was dead. Finally. The beast that had destroyed their village was dead, and his corpse would burn for days. It felt good to know that he was gone and wouldn’t come back. He was an expert in battle strategy, and he lead his kin in numerous battles. Throughout them all, he escaped unscathed; he had won the battles single-handedly, and plundered the villages. His hoard was enormous, but it no longer belonged to him.

The fools. They thought he was dead, didn't they? Although his coat was damaged beyond repair, he felt as powerful as ever. His fiery eyes were confident, and his flaming paws provided more options than he could imagine. He was not dead; he was more alive as ever, and it felt amazing.

His hoard was being compromised, and he could feel it in his blood. The torturers had taken it, but it didn’t matter. They wouldn’t be expecting him, and that would be to his advantage. The treasure was his, and nobody could take it away.

Unbelieveable. The beast was back, engulfed in flames. His flaming eyes were hungry for revenge, and it was clear that nothing could stop him. His paws left a fiery trail where he walked, and his blazing breath left the area around him engulfed in flames. They knew it was over. All of them. The creature they had imprisoned for months had returned, and he was hungry for revenge.

“The flame will persevere.”

Abilities

Passive: Blazing Trail

Ignis leaves a trail of flames behind him dealing 3*level magic damage to all enemies in the trail each second. The trail lasts for 2 seconds and deals ⅓ of the damage to minions.

Q: Fiery Claws

Mana Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 mana

Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds

Range: 200

Ignis’ next attack will have increased range and strike in a circle around him dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+100% Bonus AD) physical damage over 3 seconds to all enemies around him.

W: Smoldering Armor

Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana

Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

Passive: Ignis’ bonus armor and magic resist are increased by 5/10/15/20/25%

Active: Shields Ignis for 5/10/15/20/25% of his maximum health for 4 seconds. The passive bonuses are also doubled for the duration.

E: Blaze Dash

Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana

Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

Dash Range: 600

Damage/Knock-up Range: 250

Ignis calls upon the power of the blaze to dash to a target location dealing 90/140/190/240/290 (+40% AP) (+ 80% Bonus AD) magic damage to all enemies in the area and knocking them up for 1 second.

R: Wrath of the Inferno

Mana Cost: 100 mana at all ranks

Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds

Range: 650

Ignis roars and calls upon the flames to surround her dealing 250/350/450 (+60% AP) magic damage to all enemies in the range and stunning them for 1/1.25/1.5 seconds.

EDIT 1: Thanks to a comment from Fillopino on Reddit, I added AD scaling on his Q and E, specified physical damage on his Q, and decreased his ultimate stun duration from 1/1.5/2 seconds to 1/1.25/1.5 seconds.

EDIT 2: Thanks to a comment fom Djaul on Reddit, the shield strength on the active effect of his W has been reduced from 5/10/15/20/25% maximum health to 5/6/7/8/9/10% maximum health.
