Grotusk, the Abomination
Everyone knows Zaun is the place to go if you're keen to experiment freely and find all manner of dangerous technologies and prize innovations alike -- often both. And they too share a level of industrial progress
matched only by Piltover
. Their amazing and unique technologies, once patented, are sold all over the world, and so there is a great demand for authentic Zaun handiwork. To speed along the process Zaun has implemented a series of giant factories, mass-producing all manner of wonderful inventions and deadly weapons alike. In Zaun there is no check on science -- so why would they have a check on the environment? Billowing columns of carcinogenic smoke blotting out the sky, a thick fog of noxious green fumes sparsed from the ground, glowing phosphorescence of random, gelatinous, multicolored oozes clinging to every possible surface... the sewers are already infamous
as it is. One day, a massive quantity of rare Void matter was recklessly dumped into an already toxic pond, brewing with foul chemicals and unnatural toxins from decades of pollution...
Something quite miraculous... quite abhorrent crawled from the pool after a period of sudden bubbling, boiling, and wild churning of wastes. What emerged from the depths of that disgusting place came a terrifying entity seemingly made entirely of sludge and long-discarded materials... the monstrosity known as Grotusk. ((I'm aware this bio needs a bit more work but I wanted to go ahead and get the idea out there.))
Grotusk is literally that... a champion made entirely of trash and toxic waste, a walking sludge behemoth with a gaping maw, always drooping while making anything it touches wither and die. Being made entirely of waste, it has very high resilience against toxic attacks and most magic damage while being able to dish it out on his own... it conversely is squishier against AD attacks as they can pierce straight through its fragile form. Grotusk is deadly as a mage, having a kit devoted almost entirely to debuffs and crowd control, though building tanky is also advised to make it less squishy... especially since its abilities cost health. It is a toxic champion... literally.
Passive: Sludge Form and Clog. Being made entirely of hazardous sludge, it takes up to 80% less damage from toxic damage
(Twitch is exempt because true damage) and up to 30% less damage from magic damage and abilities which apply magic damage. Conversely, it is very fragile and will take up to 40% more damage from AD-based moves and basic attacks. It has no mana and its abilities drain health. (Adjust for OP as necessary)
Its own basic attacks and abilities also apply stacks of Clog, a 3 second debuff which reduces the affected enemy champion's attack speed and line of sight while making heals on that champion less effective and decreasing his/her health regeneration capabilities. At level 18 this can reduce enemy attack speed by as much as 25%, reduce line of sight to the immediate vicinity, and have 20% reduced effectiveness from heals and natural regeneration. At 7 stacks, the next melee attack made against that champion while clogged Blinds them for 3 seconds. Stacks of clog may not be reapplied for 7 seconds after the Blind wears off (10 since the blind).
Q: Sludge Bomb. Grotusk sacrifices a percent of its current health to hurl a massive ball of pure sludge to a target region. Enemies caught in the center of the blast are immediately Blinded for 3 seconds and have the negative effects from full stacks of Clog for 5 seconds, as well as take a moderate sum of magic damage over that period of time. Enemies caught in the edge of the blast take reduced damage and merely gain 3 stacks of Clog.
W: Noxious Aura. This ability is always on and costs nothing. Enemies located within a small melee vicinity take continuous magic damage and are slowed by being in close proximity to Grotusk.
E: Irradiated Trail. Toggle this ability on and Grotusk will constantly be losing health (unless you have 1% or less of your max health remaining); the lower its health however the higher its movement speed bonus, and it leaves a poisonous trail in its wake that lasts for up to 5 seconds. Enemies caught on the trail receive 1 stack of Clog every second and take a small amount of magic damage.
R: Wallow in Filth. Grotusk sacrifices a large percent of its current health to slow, damage, and apply maximum stacks of Clog (8, which blinds them) to everything in a wide radius around it. Any enemy champions that die during the period that Wallow in Filth is active cause nearby other enemy champions to receive a temporary 5% debuff in AD.
