Interpreting "Deadeye" teasers
The purpose of this post is to simply share my thought about the teasers.
My first set of interpretations comes from where is the glow of each champion affected. First, perhaps the connection between all of this is "lack of something".
- Garen: glow coming from his eye. Perhaps it could be said that he would be lacking some vision in respect to the future of Demacia. Reading his lore maybe it isn't so much as Garen himself lacking vision, but Demacians not seeing who is Garen in reality: instead of an icon of Demacian intolerant ethics, he is also a warrior searching for a worthy oponent.
- Sona: lack of voice, so not much to develop here.
- Vi: her whole head was kind of glowing so maybe it's a bit of a lack of intelligence here and always going brute-force into things.
- Zed: as many other threads speculate, Zed is a champion who is almost lacking of a soul after being consumed by the forbidden arts.
Second, maybe it represents different elements:
- Garen - Crystals: Earth
- Sona - Butterflies: Air
- Vi - Flames(?): Fire
- Zed - Sakura petals: Wind? This somewhat collides with itself already, so it seems implausible, though the particles may bring more information on the matter.
Second set of interpretations come from just Lore thinking and how would they be connected:
- They are all "adopted". Not so sure about Garen, but Sona and Vi are orphans and Zed was an adopted child.
- Does this have something to do with "sins"?. Garen - Pride, Vi - Wrath, Zed - Greed. Couldn't think something for Sona.
- They carry an object special to them. Sona - her Ewahtl, Vi - her fists, Zed - the forbidden arts, Garen - the Demacian symbol.
