The Juggernaut Club: Part 45
Garen is seen walking through the cave after his "talk" with Elise. He shudders as he walks along.
: Euugh! That lady is enough to give you the Jibblies! Her little spiderlings are bad enough, but seeing HER in full Spider regalia? Euugh!
He shudders again. He then notices a light coming from around a corner. He rounds the corner, and sees what looks like a wooden door or covering to a hole.
: Oh, Thank Justice! I found the end of the cave!
He comes up to it and attempts to open it. It's locked, or blocked, which one of the two, he doesn't know.
: Naturally. Well, where there's a will, there's a way!
He backs up a ways, and then runs forward, intent on shoulder-charging the door to smash it open. But as he nears it, it opens!
(Thinking): Uh-oh...
Morgana is seen carrying a tray of burnt cookies that she is intending to throw out. She's apparently re-purposed this cave that Skarner made to be her trash/dump heap.
: I need to get Brand to take a look at my ovens, see why they're- HUH!?
: GANGWAY!
CRASH!
When the dust clears, Garen and Morgana are lying in a heap in her back-room/storage room, with the burnt cookies now deposited as crumbs all over both of them. Morgana tries to shove Garen off of her, while at the same time, he is trying to find a foothold so he can get up.
: Get off!
: I'm trying, I'm trying!
: Maybe this'll speed you up.
She snaps her fingers, and her W activates. Zoe is heard from the main part of the restaurant.
: PHEW! What a relief! The Floor is Lava can be fun, but not when it lasts THAT long!
: Ow! Hey! Turn this stuff off!
To get off the burning, tormented ground, Garen quickly gets up and off of Morgana, who stands up and starts dusting herself off.
: You know, the entrance to the restaurant is OUT THERE. She points towards the main part of the building
: Call me Santa Garen. I use unconventional entryways.
: Then you would have used the CHIMNEY, you dolt!
: I'm not here for your cookies and milk anyways. I just need to get through back to the Juggernaut Club's clubhouse.
: What? You mean you weren't there for... Oh, just get out of here already!
: What?
Morgana points out towards the door, and Garen heads that way. As he does, he passes Zoe, who is still under the effects of Morgana's Q.
: Oh, hey Justice-Man! Is your dumb double-rainbow sister with you?
: No, and shut up.
: Meanie! She blows a raspberry at him
Garen responds in kind.
: (Mocking tone) Oh look, I can do that too!
He looks outside, and sees the havoc wrought upon the main city of Noxus by Urgot and Jinx's madness from a while back!
: Holy Justice! Did Olaf get on a Sugar-High again?! I thought Darius said he wasn't allowed to have sugar anymore!
Morgana leans on the doorway to her back-room.
: Where have YOU been this whole time, if THIS is new to you?
: On an.... extended leave from the club.
Morgana's eyes dim.
: Darius kicked you out again, didn't he? What was it this time?
: Made fun of his Dreadnova skin.
Zoe bursts out laughing.
: And they say I'M immature!
Morgana lets out a loud snort as she covers her mouth.
: What was THAT!?
: A really painful stifled laugh...
: Can I join in the festivities?
Everyone else: Huh?
They look, and somehow, Kayle had snuck in during all the talking.
: Morgie! How's my little sister? She starts to baby-talk as she pinches Morgana's now-red-with-anger cheeks. Ohh! Didums widdle Morgie buwrn hew widdle cookies again? She brushes off various bits and crumbs of the burnt cookies that Morgana had missed Don't worry, Big Sis Kayle will help her clean up!
: I TOLD YOU TO NEVER COME BACK HERE!
: If you said "Restraining Order" then you don't know Kayle!
: ARRGGGH!
Morgana fires her Q, but Kayle dodges, and now it's headed right for Garen!
: HOLD FAST!
He activates his W, but the Binding still lands. His shoulders slump. He turns and looks out the door at Sion's Monument. Kayle is chased out the door by an angry Morgana, who is swinging her tray at her sister.
: So close... and yet, so far.
: Well, at least now I'll have someone to talk to!
Garen groans.
