[Gamemode Concepts] Vault Gamemode + Rift Skins?

I had an idea a while ago about a game mode that took you back in time in league's history.

All the things of the past that seemed broken and overpowered.

All the nostalgic things that existed back then.

All the champs that did/didn't exist and reworks that did/didn't happen.

Could there ever be a mode that brings you back to certain eras of league history? Not sure how specific it could get. Maybe some wheel that randomizes an era people could play in.

Possibly mix it in with the custom gamemode or practice tool?

Maybe Riot's already tried to design something like this and put it on the backburner, dunno.

I've just been thinking about this because I really will miss some of the older champs pre-reworks.

Hell, people could go crazy with it, allowing you to play any champ at any period of league, with any items that were removed or reworked.

Rift Skins? I know you could actually make your own retextures for Summoner's Rift but, anyone know if there's been hints to possible future summ. rift skins for other places of league's lore? (ex. zaun, demacia, the void, etc.) Maybe with monsters themed around that area. The work it would take would be quite cumbersome though.
