RANKED LP: a new way to award/distribute LP

Has anyone noticed how seemingly impossible it feels to advance beyond Iron/bronze in ranked, due (primarily) to excessive toxicity or poor play from 1 or more team mates that inevitably causes a loss that could easily have been a win? ...The inevitable loss of LP, even if You did well the entire match? Do you find yourself loosing LP and even a hard earned Promotion Placement, due to a Loss even though you Score an A+ or greater? Did that question seem Rhetorical or even Cynical?

My Idea:

1 How about tweaking the LP system, so that if you do well in a match, but still loose the match - you at least don't loose LP? 2 Have an LP loss/gain rate that is at least partially based or reinforced off your individual performance.

-- Wins can affect the LP primarily still of course, perhaps a more significant boost.

But REALISTICALLY isn't ranked pretty much 'defining' our individual skill levels to everyone else anyway?

Why should LP gain and loss be determined completely by the performance of the entire team as a whole..? .....When your entire team is a 'randomly' selected group (unless you play in a premade)

  Truly, as it is, the LP system hardly reflects an individual's performance at all...

"one person cannot Win the match, but one person can Loose the match"

I Believe that this Change would also cut down on toxicity and help encourage more sportsmanlike (or at least less trolling) behavior in Ranked Matches.
