Powerplant Zyra Skin

Cyprusse··63 votes·7,526 views

Hey guys, here is my first LOL skin and I decided to do Zyra. She is one of the champs I frequently play and I thought an electric concept skin will most suit her. Most of her powers stun the opponents either way. Also the vines are electric cables that will trigger the robotic weapons. Her little egg pods have wiring cables connect to the ground and will be activated when she does her Q or E.

Let me know what you guys think! It there is any feedbacks, don't hesitate to share!

This "Powerplant" pun goes deeper than Zyra's roots. It's so good it almost got past me.

I haven't bought a skin in eons, but I would buy this one. Mostly cuz it reminds me of Sonic Chemical Zone.

I feel like it could be very easily reworked into a Program skin. Super nice regardless.

Cyprusse2 votes

Yeah I was thinking that too when i started the concept but PowerPlant was a fun play of words for this concept :) and thank you!

The design is good, but could use some improvement in colors. The skin line Program colors would better suit this idea, which is pretty much the same lore.

Cyprusse2 votes

That's true. I almost wanted to make her a little muted but just felt like personalizing the colors for this line up. I think Zyra needs to be a little colorful since she is a plant concept and all. But yeah, I would definitely do a take on a more muted and similar to the program skin series as an extra. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Cool skin idea, +1! Unfortunately at Zyra's skin release rate, you might expect to see a recreation of this in ~20 years.

I know right. When I came up with this, they haven't release the dragon sorceress zyra. I was like in sketch phase and left it alone till lately. Just wanted to finish something. The next round I will do a skin for a champ that hasnt have a skin up for awhile. You have any suggestions?

I kinda expected it to be more nuclear-inspired.

Still, awesome skin!

Cyprusse1 votes

Yeah, I thought of that too but because it makes more sense for electric since she stuns kinda of like an electric shock. Plus, I cables underground feels more like an electric idea to me. We can say that her Q shooters shoots out nuclear waste?? XD

Torterra622 votes

i think program zyra is a better name based on the designs and stuff

Cyprusse1 votes

Yeah, I would change the name eithwer way. I just can't help using the powerplant pun though ;)

Pretty good skin. Kinda reminds me of Warframe.

######Before they ruined it.

Cyprusse1 votes

LOL what??? they ruined it? the game looks cool though.

Ha! Power Plant, I get it

What's your inspiration for the colors?

Cyprusse1 votes

Well, is based of her original concept which is red and green but added extra metallic gold and silver for the robotic look. Also her hair is inspired from LED fibre optic cables and I thought it would be a interesting idea. She is a plant concept after all and should be pretty colorful.

Great Skin Idea!!!!

Keagn1 votes

Really cool skin concept, though I almost would suggest more mechanical colors, rather than the vibrant choices you picked. Maybe a caution yellow paired up with various hues. All and all though, really cool!

Pun names are always great names. This has my stamp of approval.

Cool concept, but like karma this bitch got too many skins and just recently got a skin. Pass.

I am a zyra main and really like the idea of an electric zyra. I think what you have drawn could fit well to the super galaxy series or start a new series with zoe for cyber pop. However, personally I was thinking about the idea of "Virus Programm Zyra" as an evil extension to the program skin line (soraka, lissandra) and her ability suits the idea of virus spreading too. But that's just a thought. Really like your concept art!! hope to see it in the shop one day :DDD

this is super badass!

A mi asi me pareceria una Zyra programa la verdad no esta nada mal :D

Ezking151 votes

Got me right in the feels... I love you, dude... I will never stop loving you, dude...

P.s: would this be a part of the Super Galaxy or Program skin line?

P.p.s: lowkey feels as if the champion. Zyra. Needs a tad of a Rework and lots of love by Riot.

P.p.s.s: Love you!

[sg-kiko]

Edit: "Cyberpunk Zyra" or "Cyber Zyra", something like that :3

I like it. But how about battlecast instead, probably don't have to switch to the red/orange scheme but a light change in colors might be nice.

EDIT: wait a minute wtf, this was posted a year ago
