[Champion Concept] Faulka - The Noxian Phantom

Faulka's origins are one of the biggest mysteries surrounding both him and the Noxian Government. it is rumoured that he was taken at birth from his parents to be raised as one of Noxia's assassins. But not in the same manner most were. The mere existence of Faulka was hidden from the world at large. Only a hand full of people within the walls of Noxus even knew of him and even fewer had direct contact him. The rumours speculate that he was a part of a genetic engineering experiment to groom and breed the world's most dangerous assassin. While the details of the experiments remained under lock and key, they certainly bore fruit. Faulka was instantly heralded as one of the most dangerous men in Noxia as his existence became known.

His skills were more than just physical. He had abilities the likes of which few could comprehend. Many fear him as some sort of sorcerer but that was further from the truth than they could even realise. His targets would often find out about the power of his abilities first hand, dying in a pool of black light. People would die so quickly that they often did not even know they were being attacked until their life faded from this world.

His missions had become tales of infamy. The very mention of his nickname "Phantom" would often terrify those who heard it, fearing they would be the next to fall to this mysterious man. According to some publicly released reports he has only ever failed three missions. His attempts to assassinate three of the Demacian military: Garen, Shyvana and Jarven IV. This failure inpacted Faulka in a way no one could have expected. The normally reserved man demanded to be entered into the League of Legends to make up for his faliure and assassinate the targets he had failed to before.

Appearance

Faulka stands at 5"10', brawny in stature with raven black hair and dark blue eyes. His face is covered from the nose down by a face mask and his head is typically covered in a hood. He typically wears fairly plain and conservative sunglasses to hide his eyes and complements this with a black shirt, trench coat, fingerless gloves, loose legged pants and military style boots. His short swords are sheathed in black scabbards that are strapped to each side of his hip.

The blades themselves are a dull black colour with a red blood channel running down each of them. The blades are slightly curved and the cutting edge is serrated with razor sharp teeth.

Faulka's Design

Faulka was designed with two specific goals in mind. A strong, bursty assasssin that would put up a good fight mid lane against the current meta of Le Blanc, Zed, Swain but to also be a champion viable as a top laner to would be able to make tanks second guess jumping him. His kit focuses around doing incredible amounts of damage quickly while retaining a decent amount of chasing potential and mobility. His kit's upside is the amount of damage it is able to deal in a very short amount of time plus his mobility and kit makes it difficult to pin him down or escape from. However the downside is that his skills are designed with close range in mind and being in the middle of a team fight could be either a good decision or bad decision. He also has NO CC of any kind meaning he provides no real means of helping the team aside from lowering the defences of one enemy. The final weak spot is his mobility is only good inside a enemy minion wave. Without a real escape he is either all in or nothing.

Passive

• Persistent Phantom - When an enemy champion is below 50% of their maximum health, Faulka's basic attacks and abilities on that champion will grant him a movement speed bonus.

Basic attacks grant a 8/10/12% movement speed bonus which decays over 2/3/4 seconds Abilities grant a 15/18/20% movement speed bonus which decays over 1/1.5/2 seconds

Q Ability

Chaos Slash Range: 850 (straight line skillshot) Mana usage - 50/55/60/65/70, Cooldown - 14/12/10/8/6 Magic Damage - 35/70/105/140/175 (+25% AP scaling)

• ACTIVE: - Faulka releases a slash of black energy in a straight line, hitting all enemies in its path and dealing magic damage. If the skill successfully hits an enemy champion, he can use Chaos Wave up to 4 seconds afterwards. The cooldown does not start until Chaos Wave has either been used or the timer has elapsed.

W Ability

Chaos Wave Range: 500 (AoE Skillshot) Mana usage - 50/55/60/65/70, Cooldown -14/12/10/8/6 Magic Damage - 45/90/135/180/225 (+ 35% AP Scaling) Armour and Magic Resist Reduction - 10/15/20/25/30%

• ACTIVE - Falka slashes his blade across himself, releasing a wave of energy in the area in front of him, dealing magic damage to all enemies and lowers their armour and magic resist for 4 seconds within the area. The ability will elapse after 4 seconds and will start Chaos Slash cooldown.

E Ability

Mark of Chaos Range: 350 (Targeted) Mana usage - 50/60/70/80/90, Cooldown - 10/9/8/7/6 Physical Damage on hit - 40/60/80/100/120 (40% bonus AD Scaling)

• ACTIVE - Faulka blinks behind the target. If he hits an enemy champion strikes the target using his palm, dealing physical damage and marking the target for 4 seconds. The initial strike will apply on-hit effects.

Magic Damage from Mark when hit by ability - 40/80/120/160/200 (+ 20% AP scaling) If the target is hit by another of Faulka's abilities they take bonus magic damage on hit.

Magic Damage after 4 seconds - 20/40/60/80/100 (+ 20% AP Scaling) However if the mark is not triggered after 4 seconds, the mark explodes, dealing reduced magic damage to the target.

R Ability

Black Phantasm Range: 450 (Targeted) Mana Usage - 100, Cooldown - 120/110/100 First 2 Strikes Physical Damage - 90/130/170 (+25% AP Scaling) Final Blow: Range: 600 (Auto cast straight line) Magic Damage - 150/200/250 (+25% AP scaling)

• ACTIVE - Faulka lunges towards an enemy champion, attacking twice dealing physical damage and apply on-hit effects. He then teleports behind the champion and stabs him in the back projecting an energy beam from the champion, dealing magic damage to any enemy within the path of the beam. If Mark of Chaos is triggered by the ability, the bonus damage is amplified by 5%.
