Skin Trading!

The concept is simple, add a way trading skins between friends.

If there's one change that LoL could use (without getting complaints in the process) it would be the ability to trade skins with other people. I can't be the only one to have multiple skins for heroes that I don't even play anymore. They just sit there waiting for their chance to be used, hoping that maybe I'll go back to that champion and play them again. Having multiple skins for one champ is redundant and having skins for champs you don't play is rather worthless.

Take Sona for instance. I bought her Pentakill skin when the Pentakill album released, and then I got her Silent Night skin out of a Mystery box. Oh, okay, so I have a skin that's only available once a year, that's cool. I can still only use one skin. Then of course Sona gets nerfed to her current state, so now I have BOTH skins sitting there unused.

In other games if you have cosmetics for your favorite champion, but then a new cooler looking set comes out, you don't have to simply sit on the old skin, you can trade it away for a skin for something else. At the same time, you can get something for another champ in exchange.

It sounds kinda cool,but it could end up pretty broken for riot. I mean just imagine if you have a few good friends,then that would basically enable you to simply create a large pool of skins that you share with your friends. Now you don't have to buy that shiny new skin anymore if a friend of you is going to get it,you simply ask him to trade the skin with you before you search for a game.

What I could rather imagine would be something like making it possible for people to sell their legacy/limited skins in an auction or something like that(there'd be no point for them to enable this for regular skins that you can just buy in the shop,since that would either mean people can buy the skins for less than their actual worth,which would hurt riot,or they would simply buy them in the shop,there'd be no win for riot)

I mean it is basically a win-win-situation,people would probably pay even more riot points than the skins actual worth,just to get skins that aren't coming back ever again(yeah some skins like these do exist),or to get skins that are currently unavaliable. If it is done via bidding,then the price could skyrocket for some skins and no one could blame riot for this,since it would depend on the bids of other players(or if skins can be merely sold,it allows riot to make more money from them) and it would enable people to get skins that aren't avaliable,without anyone getting angry about riot breaking their promise of "this skin isn't coming back".
