Sycophants and Apologists

I know, I get it, League of Legends is a FUN GAME. People love playing the game, regardless of how balanced for fair it may be. It doesn't mean it doesn't have issues. That also doesn't mean Riot is immune to criticism.

Recently, it has become more and more popular to let Riot off the hook. Let Riot do what they want, they say, it is their game after all. They know what is best, they designed the game. Do not mind that Riot prefers making champions that outclass older ones. Do not mind the 7 dollar champions that need 30 hours of grind to get "for free". For that matter, don't mind the grind at all. The game is perfectly balanced according to Riot's design, despite regular patches. It isn't as if players can see win rates, pick rates, and ban rates, only Riot knows the true balance of the game.

You guys are aware that Riot is a business made of mortal people, right? They are not gods to be worshiped, they are just like the rest of us. They are certainly able to take complaints; they often look to the boards, as well as other sites, for feedback. The haters do not hate without reason, they each have their own person issues with the game. The haters often hate because they want to see improvement to the game they love.
