New Champion Idea?!

Alright I have an idea for you guys. I have been playing league for a while now and there have been many cool new champions and stuff. So anyway here it is. Now i know this idea may have some problems or become to OP but, my idea is, a customizable champion! The idea is basically, your able to make a class (Assassin, Fighter, ect.) and choose from a list of skills that other champions have. The player should be limited to the amount of AOE spells/skills they have. This could greatly benefit you guys as if you find a good champion that isn't to OP and is well balanced you guys can turn it into a buyable champion. Every summoner should be limited to 1 custom champion so the summoner doesn't become too OP and not rely on the summoner store. The player should also be able to make a body type (list of body types). For example, if i wanted a body type like garen i could choose male->body type->muscular. Then from there the summoner could name the champion then choose the skills. To make sure a champion doesn't become to OP, they should be limited to AOE skills, stun skills, stealth skills, and passives. For example, if i made a champion named rex, used a muscular body type then used stealth, stuns and a passive like evelynn's passive i would be too OP and it wouldn't be fair. Another thing is the custom champion should also be customizable after you confirm the way the summoner wants the champion to be like. For example, if i was new to the game and made a really bad custom champion and couldn't change it's skills then it would become useless to me. Also custom champions should always be banned in ARAM, and Draft pick because other summoners don't know what the summoners custom champion is like. I hope you guys look into this!

So... here's a funny thing. It's been tried before. Several times, actually back in Warcraft 3 (where LoL originated from). The main map that tried this and was successful was called Hands of Sorrow Knight (HoSK), and it did a lot of cool things with the idea. At the beginning of the game you pick the model, then a series of abilities from certain pools, then played like a normal game of League would (for it's day). You can see a video of the basics here.

Now, it was a neat game, and they tried very hard to make it varied and good, but a strange thing emerged: all the best players used only one of a couple builds. This was because of the innate result of having various abilities and the ability to choose from them. Some combinations work, others don't. What this would, in effect, result in would be maybe four or five more champions added to the roster with above average strengths, due to the best possible combinations being made of the available skills. As these skills are balanced, the resulting champions would vary slgihtly, but remain about the same in number.

It's a neat idea, but not one for LoL to try to implement because in all honesty, I would much rather four or five completely new champions be created for us to play than just a handful of remixed 'best of' concepts.

I don't slight you for asking though, I only know this because I've been playing these games too long, lol.
