Bio: Covenant was a High Priest of the brotherhood Yorick joined. He was the only one of the brothers who hadn't shunned Yorick after he displayed his abilities. Instead, Covenant, formerly know as Eli Mortum, had been a friend of the young child and decided to help him hone is strength. However, Eli was different than that of his brothers. While they slept, he suffered. Countless years of torturous pain and nightmares had twisted the poor boys mind. He grew. The voices in his head only became louder. stronger....more tempting than before. Eli knew he was not ready to take on the mantle of High Priest, especially after his king in his homeland had gone mad with power. Then, a vision came to him. Black, choking mist. Gnashing teeth. Coldness. Peace at last. Eli knew what he had to do. He gave his vial of water to his friend Yorick, and then walked into the waters of the sea. He felt them begin to choke and bite his body, taking him to the floor of the ocean. Never to be seen again. Many years later, when the Ruined King came to the shores of the Blessed Isles, Eli rose from the depths of the black sea. He was more than he was before, stronger, smarter, faster, stranger. He held the darkness at bay for so long, his holy light had all but been changed. He was now a being of the darkness, but not controlled by it. He was more. He was Covenant. He was the martyr for their sacrifices.
