Vauban: The Fearless Role: Ranged control mage
Passive-(Take the Charge): Vauban deals 25% increased damage to targets who are crowd controlled. He may also take one of three different gauntlets in an 8th item slot. The gauntlet of the leader enhances his damage and health by a fraction of the other gauntlets (25% of each) and gives second ability another effect. The gauntlet of the leader makes his allies share his damage bonus to crowd controlled targets. Grants his third ability a new effect. The gauntlet of the general allows him to take on more armor, health, and magic resistances but at the cost of damage. However, he gains more bonus damage to crowd controlled units. Grants all abilities a new effect.
Q-(Trip Mine): Vauban tosses a mine at a target location. He may tether the mine to more mines. When an enemy pass through them, they are damaged for 75/85/95/105/115 damage with 15% Ability Power scaling (+11.25 damage per 20 ability power). Augmented by gauntlets, the mines gain additional effects Leader: Slows the target for 5 seconds and gives Vauban and his allies movement speed to the slowed target(s) Commander: Orbital strike is able to be sent out to deal additional damage General: Vauban gains high amounts of damage reduction and a small burst of healing, causing a small vortex of flames to burst at his feet to deal 15 damage per second. Lasts 3 seconds.
W-(Bastille): Vauban creates a high-suppression containment field, creating a small stunning ring that expands. Allies gain a shield inside of the circle that persists. Enemies are stunned and have their armor and magic resist stripped. This deals 100/110/120/130/140 magic damage. Scales with ability power (+20% per 40 ability power) Augmented with gauntlets. Leader: Ally shield deals AoE magic damage and heal them for a small amount over the duration. General: All allies gain decreased cooldowns, more resistances, and gain a mass of attack speed while the shield lasts.
E-(Tesla Launcher): Vauban targets an area, tossing a small tesla field in the area and zapping enemies who come within 45 units of the field. Deals 60/70/80/90/100 damage scaling with 50% of his ability power (+30 per every 30-ability power) Gauntlets add addition effects Commander: Creates a second minor tesla explosion on the outside of the field that deals 50 true damage. Scales with level. General: Vauban can reactivate the Tesla Launcher to stun the targets inside the rift and slow the targets out of it. He gains a small burst of movement speed per champion tagged by the field.
R-(Vortex): Vauban marks an area, creating a small cyclone of electric energy that pulls enemies in. Enemies inside take 100/200/225 damage scaling with 70% of his ability power (+10 per every 7-ability power). Lasts 10 seconds. Vauban can also use Tesla Launcher on the vortex to suppress the targets inside. The General gauntlet allows Vauban to call upon his small army and send a small firing line to the targets inside for 50 true damage every bullet. The firing line may fire 1 shot per second and lasts 5 seconds.
Strengths: Strong damage and tankiness for a ranged character, AOE, teamighting.
Weaknesses: Set up time, strange mechanics, a lot of skill is required.
Difficulty: 3 bars
