Alex, The Angel of Death

THE REAL NAME OF THIS CHAMPION IS OSWALD, NOT ALEX. JUST PRETEND ALL THE ALEX'S ARE OSWALD'S.

NOTE: Special thanks to Sir Shadow Isles and Shadow Crilix. Sir Shadow Ilse actually gave me new ideas, and pinpointed errors within the Lore. Shadow Crilix is currently making a nicer picture for the champion and he gave me a nice balanced amount for damage. NOTE: Sorry for the Name of this champion... One of the only things I wasn't keeping in mind was the name. Therfore, his real named isn't really decided, maybe Oswald? The point is, please don't judge the champ because of his name.

Speed: 350 Mana Regen: 7.0(+.45) Range: 125(melee) Passive: Dear Agony- When Alex runs out of mana, he will start using his health for his abilities and will have 15% Life Steal. When teammates die, he temporarily gets 25% more attack damage. This goes away when teammates come back.

Abilities q: Ace of Darkness(cost:60 Mana OR 5% of Health) Alex charges his blades with dark power, enabling him to burst out pure darkness at all enemies in front of him. Extra damage to minions. Deals magic damage. 60/105/145/185/225(+85% AP)(coned-shaped)(cooldown: 10)

w: Chains of Redemption(cost:70 Mana OR 7% of Health) Alex's blades extend and whip out saws. He blocks all abilities and attacks of all opponents. This can block global ults, like Ashe's Enchanted Crystal Arrow, Jinx's Super Mega Death Rocket!, Draven's Whirling Death, or Ezreal's Trueshot Barrage and removes all slows and stuns. (cooldown: 30/25/20/15/10)

e: Apocalyptic Blades(cost:30 Mana OR 6% of Health) Charged Blades extend and deal damage to all enemies in front of him. This attack pushes enemies forward and knocks Alex back. Deals both physical and magic damage. 75/115/160/205/ 250 (+ 120% bonus AD)(cooldown 20)

r: Angel of Death(cost:200 Mana AND 15% of Health) Alex summons the full power of his curse. He flies into the sky revealing the whole map to himself and his allies, but causes everything to turn gray. He then lands into the area of choosing, while causing a blue aura to spread that slows and damages all enemies in his landing area.(If no area is chosen, Alex will crash at the same spot he took off, take note that this isn't recommended as an escape, it will take long to cast). After landing, he receives a 35% penalty in his attack speed temporary, but gains a 25% magic resistance, attack damage, armor, movement speed, and ability power( also temporary). He must have both mana and health to use this ability.(cooldown: 120/100/90)

Lore "Caitlyn gave me a chance for a new life, and you will not take that from me, Jinx. So go ahead and run, let us see if you don't end up behind bars... or dead." -Alex to Jinx, after her defeat and before her escape into hiding. Within the Shadow Isles, there is a curse. A curse that gives its bearer unimaginable strength, at a price. Seeking help to overthrow the Noxian Grand General Swain, a pair of noxian rebels found the seal containing such power. One looked at the seal in awe, craving its power, losing his sanity little by little. The other soldier was a young man named Alex. He had no emotion when looking at this seal or his comrade. Ever since they entered the Isles, he had been hearing menacing voices and when the other soldier touched the seal, they screamed. Alex lost consciousness immediately, and when he woke up, there were many cadavers all around him. He notice blue, glowing wings on his back and two black blades in his hands.

Alex constantly lost consciousness and woke surround by dead bodies from then on. At first he was burdened by the death of his friend and all the dead creatures. He knew he killed them, and the guilt kept eating at him. He wondered the Shadow Isles, tossing his black blades many times, yet they reappeared in his hands, covered in his victim's blood. As time passed, he grew accustomed to the killing. He knew he had to stop, yet, he couldn't control this power. He needed help from the only one who can actually teach him to control this curse: Swain, the Master Tactician himself.

Alex started his journey back to Noxus. Back in the mainland, he was stopped by Demacian soldiers, who noticed he had his Noxian armor. They attacked Alex, who immediately started to defend himself. He didn't want to kill them. He didn't want to take more lives, yet, the voices stabbed him with words. As more Demacian soldiers came he started running. The voices yelled at him, and his guilt was eating him. When he was tired of running away and couldn't hold himslef any longer. As he looked back, he saw Demacian soldiers had surrounded him; he had no escape.

With a scream, he gave in to the voices and started glowing blue and wings came out of his back. With fast movements he destroyed everything in sight, he killed everything with a sword, yet he managed to maintain control. Even though he maintained his control, the surge of power faded, and he noticed his wounds. He lost consciousness, but for the first time he was at peace. He found the key to control: emotions, reason, and a motive.

He woke up in the entrance of a ruined city. The banners said "Welcome to the City of Progress!", yet it looked destroyed. He saw pink graffiti under those banners. As Alex stared and blamed himself for the destruction, he saw a beautiful woman. Calling herself Caitlyn, she explained that Alex wasn't to be blamed. She pointed to an injured woman with big fist, saying that they she attacked him thinking he was the person they were looking for. Asking for identification, Alex told her his name and all he could remember. In return, Caitlyn told Alex of where he was, how the city got its name, and how it is being destroyed.

Alex looked at the dark city and noticed the words "catch me if you can". He needed a home and a new start. He needed time and practice to learn full control. That's when Vi, or so she called herself, told of the League of Legends. Alex only heard rumors of this league; that it featured some of the toughest fighters and mages. He knew he needed to enter this league, maybe there he would at least learn to hone his new power. All he really needed now was a home.

So Alex struck a deal with Caitlyn. If he could make Piltover his home, he would assist Piltover's enforcer in the capture of the criminal known as Jinx. He asked for another chance, Caitlyn just smiled. She told him that Jinx recently entered the league, and if he could manage to help them capture her and defeat her enough times in the fields of justice, he would be welcomed.

Alex, hearing Caitlyn's words of approval, felt tears. Alex wiped his eyes and hugged Caitlyn. For the first time, in a long time, Alex felt hope. For the first time, in a long time; He smiled.

Appearance Wearing a black long coat.Classic Background is same as Caitlyn's, but it is raining and Piltover looks more sinister(because of Jinx). Alex has long hair and looks pale. In his opening, there is lightning, which reveals his wings and sinister smile. The color of the blades are black; they a named Shi's(Death's) Demise. I have uploaded how they look like.... more or less. It's most likely that they won and Alex ran away or they were defeated. Either way, they do not show any hatred of him. Piltover Jinx: Alex and Jinx have fought many times, which causes the city a lot of damage, but the do not hate each other. Quite the opposite, they both respect each other. Alex respects Jinx's freedom, while Jinx manages to actually find Alex a fun opponent to fight.... or blow up. Caitlyn: Alex fell in love with Caitlyn, mostly due to her giving him a chance to redeem himself. Even though they do have their squabbles and arguments at times, Alex doesn't hesitate to follow Caitlyn's orders.Likewise, Caitlyn does have a large degree of trust for Alex and will support the decisions he makes, especially when it comes to Jinx. He is known to very much enjoy Caitlyn's tea. Vi: Rocky relationship at first, they ended up getting along thanks to their mutual way of following guidelines for law enforcement in Piltover. Orianna: The Lady of Clockwork is usually seen with Alex in the city outskirts. They get along thanks to both of their views of themselves. Jayce: Alex is friends with Jayce, as they are seen exchanging or building something. Alex spied on Viktor, as a favor, to see if he wasn't attempting anything unlawful. It has been knonw that Jayce helped Alex install saws into his blades. Noxus: Talon and Katarina: Both assassins were sent to either retrieve Alex or kill him. They never caught him. Swain: Swain considered him a threat to his current power, and still does. Even though they are watchful of each other, they hold a certain level of respect. Alex has no longer intention of overthrowing Swain. Zaun: Viktor: Alex would spy on Viktor sometimes, to make sure he isn't attempting to steal anything from Piltover. You won't listen, will you?.... Dead one!" "Big Blades..... Little Targets." In front of Garen: "You won't spin your self out of this one, Garen." Against any scientist(Viktor, Jayce, Singed, Mundo, ect.) "Prometheus was punished by the gods for giving the gift of knowledge to man, left on a cliff and pecked by birds. My blades shall be the birds this day!" Skin Ideas Officer: Oswald wears a navy blue coat. For weapons, he wields 2 batons and uses handcuffs instead of chainsaws/ Lord: This would of happened if he still had intentions of conquering Noxus from Swain and successfully defeating him. Oswald is completely corrupted with his curse and constantly retains his blue aura. Same weapons, except the saws are now pure dark bluish power resonating from his blades. Noxian Angel: A new skin idea. This one would be if Oswald went back to Noxus and joined with Swain. Full control of power, he has a constant red aura around him and his weapons a tainted red. Champion's journal My name is Alex.... I think. I can't remember much but I know one thing: I have a reason to live again. The city wasn't always so dark and destroyed; according to the pretty Caitlyn and Big Fists, the city was a peaceful and very advanced technologically. That all changed with the arrival of a criminal know as Jinx, she destroyed half of the city with her weapons and Piltover is now in a state of panic. With no home or reason I begged for this city to be my domain, somewhere I can finally rest. They accepted me on one condition, I capture this Jinx, I don't like utilizing this curse, but I am in no position to decline. Now I am a cop, hunting down Piltover's greatest nightmare... besides getting owned by Zaun. I met Jinx the day after I arrived, and for the first time I felt a little fear, or nervousness. Even though I managed to control my curse and fought savagely, I only managed to graze Jinx and cause the city more collateral damage. That girl is tough! The next day, after Caitlyn scolded me for the damage and Big Fists laughing at my face, Caitlyn took me to her favorite look-out spot. We watched the gray, half destroyed city together for a few hours and then she left. I stood there sitting down, looking for some way I could actually make a difference here. At that moment it started raining and another explosion destroyed a near-by building. Jinx was, once again, doing unscrupulous acts. With that I got up remembering what I'm now fighting for. I have new friends all over the city, I have a life, I have a home. With new strengths I fought her again. Even though I consider my power a curse, I learned to control it through out the fight and this time managed to capture Jinx, even though there was even more damage to the city. I gave Jinx to Big Fist and saw Caitlyn in the background smile. I watched Jinx get put away. She was still smiling, a smile that said, "This isn't over." At that time I didn't care, I looked away from Jinx and to the crowds of people who were cheering. They thought it was over, that city could now live in peace again. They were proven wrong later that afternoon, when Jinx blew up the Jail she was in and escaped into hiding. Now I'm sitting here, where Caitlyn usually stays. It's raining and I can still picture Jinx's smile and her laugh. I truly envy her view of freedom and I respect it, yet I hate it. I hate how it is hurting all the people. Jayce managed to install saws and chains in my blades, so now criminals and my enemies can struggle when they get hit, this also made my blades more light. I love hextech equipment, seriously! Now I wait for Jinx to make a move, in the rain, and I watch Piltover. I will protect this place, I just hope I can do it. If I don't lock up Jinx and restore the peace in the City of Progress, Noxus or Demacia will get ideas of conquering this city in its weakened state.
