Summoner's Rift Skins?! CONCEPTS AND IDEAS

So I am was sitting down and thinking about how neat would it be if the Summoner's Rift had skins (probably to be purchased, but free would be AMAZING)??? So here's the pitch:

PART ONE // BEAR WITH ME

Summoner's Rift Skins (from now on known as Rift Skins) would work similarly to the overlays they have done for events, but ones that summoners could buy or choose from, as explained below:

OPTION ONE: ALL SKIN all summoners will see the same map (like events) I imagine this to be not only the easiest implementation but also probably one of the better ways to implement it. Here it would be voted upon similarly to One-For-All in that players pick their favorite Rift Skin and we go from there. The voting would be open until the last 10 "choose your loadout" seconds of champ select (this would allow last pickers to not have to rush picking at the end).

> PROS: Free skins! CONS: Mob rule.

OPTION TWO: ONLY PLAYER Streamers would have a good time with this because those of us who like to stream as Star Guardians could potentially have a Star Guardian skin and those who are hard of seeing, colorblind, or those who find the designs distracting could choose not to use them. Accessibility! I think this would be the best option both financially for Riot and for the players who don't want to have all these distractions in their game. Personally I would be willing to pay what the price of an ultimate skin costs, around $30 USD HEXTECH??. I think for all the work that goes into these and how popular this would be Especially because I've been playing for years now and as much as I love the Classic Rift I think skinz are COOL, I think Riot could stand to be rewarded a little at least (PUT YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS DOWN BELOW, I'M INTERESTED IN YOUR THOUGHTS)

> PROS: Individual preference/accessibility! CONS: Money, sure but this would be purely cosmetic... (and give you a sense of pride and accomplishment)

PART TWO // YOUR PACKAGE HAS ARRIVED

Obviously its still super fun to see skins for events, like Snowdown, MSI etc. I'm looking to expand the scope!

Tiers? Maybe something like a full pack for $30? Or sell individually? (Minion Skins, Jungle Skins, Turret Skins, Rift Texture Skins with an option for a full pack like with skins)

Come on, how cute would it be to see a little Star Guardian or Yordle Minion running around? How cool would a Runic or Elderwood Minion be? A Shuriman Red Buff?

PART THREE // LIKE WEARING A COOL SWEATER, NOTHING MORE

Here's where I figure most debate will come:

> VISUALS ARE TOUCHY BECAUSE THEY CAN GIVE IN GAME ADVANTAGES LIKE (clarity of vision, hitboxes, hard-to-see, too many particles, new models, etc)

Here me out: treat them like chromas or regular skins. Maybe sure the Star Guardian or Shurima skins have more particles? Or the Noxus skin has cool glowey eyes??? Idk, that's Riot's creative team's call. All I'm saying is maybe just have cool color variants or neato skin wrapping on the monsters or minions (LIKE IN POOLPARTY!!!). I think even something so small as minions and turrets would be oh so much fun! It doesn't need to be a complete redesign. It needs to be playable to all sides. It would just be a fun mod-free way of having fun (especially on stream) and showing your personality!

PART FOUR // FINALLY THE MAIN COURSE

I've gone long enough, now for my actual potential ideas. (I may actually hammer out some concept art too if my commissions let up anytime soon.)

1. Star Guardian Turrets can be references to the First Star and the zappy bois on top can be like Janna's wand, all crystal and pretty! The rift can look all fluffy and cloud-like. STAR GUARDIAN MINIONS. COSMIC STAR DRAGON ~~definitely not aurelion sol ~~ Elegant! Kawaii!

2. Dark Star Similar to above but darker with purple ground and dark turrets. (would possibly make things too easy to see?) Edgy! Dark!

3. Pool Party Bright river! Pool Noodle Bushes! SNORKEL SCUTTLER CRABBY BOYE. Boardwalk instead of the stone in the Rift. Surf Shack for Shop/Nexus, Tiki Turrets! Minions are already basically made so easy peasy!

4. DEMACIAAAAAA cobblestone lanes, white spire towers definitely not galio , pristine golden inhibitors.** FOR EXTRA FUN PUT NOXUS AS RED SIDE AND DEMACIA AS BLUE SIDE AND WATCH GAREN CRY AS RED TOP.** This one seems like the most logical step in the ladder, monsters could have banners for Noxus and Demacia, respectively. Or be colorized?

5. Warring Kingdoms/Blood Moon Oh man. This would be so cool. East Asian inspired. Red side being Blood Moon, Blue being Warring Kingdoms. A blend of two titans in the East. Ionia Falls aside. Shadows of the night ravage the forests seeking blood under the red moon. Pagoda nexuses, Golden orbs as nexuses, Jade dragon and lion statues for turrets, jade and gold minions. Reeds and a blood red river. The moon on top lane. Eastern Dragons in Baron and Dragon pits. ahhhhh....

6. Other region specific motifs Ionia, Shurima, Bilgewater (fun!) Void (aka definitely not Twisted Treeline)

I have more ideas but I don't work for Riot (hire me rito pls) so I don't want to make this a whole book. Its just been an idea i've had for a long time...

Let me know what you think about this.~~ (especially riot)~~ Would you spend money for this? How much? Expanding ideas above? Maybe I'll work on some concept art if people start to like this post a lot! THANK YOU!!
