Slaughter House Thresh

In way of inspiration for the skin concept, i was just thinking about Slaughter House Chaac from Smite and thought it would be cool to add this to Thresh's character design. At first i thought something close to military but then i just couldn't picture what his weapon would look like. So, like in old school horror films, why not his chain turns into barbwire, the hook looks more like a curved hatchet and what he wears is like something from some epidemic end of the world thing, like zombie apocalypse. Obviously i don't want it to look like a copy of the design if anyone knows what im talking about, but similar no less.
