There usually isn't a point in asking a Rioter about skins or other unknown upcoming content because they want it to be a surprise.

They also don't want to steal away the excitement and hype from the people who actually worked on the project.

Actually a bit disappointed. It's nice we get a skin, but the fact it is kind a meh and only a 975 skin tier makes me wonder if you guys are putting any effort into something like this. Sorry, I am glad someone looked at her, but it kinda feel like what you guys did with safe cracker eve as a tie over....

If you were to release a skin of 1350 quality right off of the bat people are just going to say "Why would I use this one when Shadow has just as much". I.e brand new VFX across the board.

Releasing a 975 skin and then later leading the community into Evelynn receiving a 1350 like the rest of the cast helps provides a buffer if they were too receive harsh criticism.

Kayn is an incredibly hard champion to make skins for, as your essentially making 3 skins in 1. However, I completely agree with you. Hopefully this year it will come out, as this is brilliant.

to be fair.. i'm pretty sure their reasoning for not wanting to make Kandy Kayn and Christmas (X-mas?) Eve is because the skins' puns don't localize into other languages well. they've mentioned this a couple times since Kayn's release (i'd provide a link but i'm lazy and don't wanna look for it)

that's not to say i don't like the idea for these skins, as i think the puns are fun. my personal opinion is that they should make them anyway. however, i understand if they don't want to.

I know a rioter posted a few months ago that they were already in production on Christmas skins when Kayn came out and Evelynn's rework came out after that so they just didn't have time for this most recent christmas, but there is always next year.
