New champion select

I got a new addition to champion select I think a vast majority of players would enjoy. It's actually a few things that would improve game play cut down on troll picks in rank, and be overall more team oriented.

First right now you guys have it setup where you need 16 champions before you can participate in rank. I feel this is outdated what if instead we concentrate on a players roles instead. Instead of needing 16 champions what if you only need five per role.

That's right pick intent a player must select up to five champions in each role up to a maximum of eleven champions per role. A player must play one of these champions that they chose forcing players to play champions they know and like rather than trying to play champions they might not know so well.

During pre select stage add ten seconds each player on the team then n an option to ban 1 champion if they so choose from each other player provided a majority say 3 people agree on.

Example at bot lane a player chooses miss fortune jhin varus Tristana and vi, his other 4 teammates can look at his pick intents and say 3 people agree can then ban him from playing vi at bot lane. Same for jungle top support mid. Each player can only vote once per role, and if at least three people say no said champion will not be able to be played. I believe this would prevent troll picks as much......

Next after pre select we have ban select instead of each player getting a ban what if instead your team now gets to vote on their five bans. In addition to make each ban significant and more competitive ban options will only consist of the champion poll currently available from the opposite team. To make sure it is not abuse ban selections will automatically be put in abc order. Each person on a team gets five votes and can only vote for a champion once.

This makes everyone feel like they had a part in making ban selections. The top five champions with the most votes would be the ones that are ban. If for some reason there is a tie first pick will then choose a champion themselves out of the champions that are tied. Of course this ban phase would be done one by one blue team than red team or vise versa to make sure that no matter what 10 champions will be banned.

I personally feel that we should get rid of the fill position but if not possible in addition a player then needs to choose one champion for the other three roles. These three champions can be banned from the enemy team but will not be visible as ban options for ally team. This is a little reward for filling, again with fill you can choose a maximum of 11 champions per role. If for any reason your picks are all ban and or pick by enemy team or ally team a free dodge would then be available but only if said player has no other champion to play as.

Ps it isn't likely that something like above could happen but this is just in case. Also you must own the champion to have it for pick intent. Also a player must have a mastery of 5 or higher on a champion before pick intent would allow them to have that champion in rank. This forces a player to learn a champion rather than rushing say Xayah into rank right away without at least learning how to play her first. I know this doesn't entirely mean a person has master say Xayah but it does mean that they should have a basic understanding of that champion.
