Bestow, strengthen your champions (Change items and gold into something more sensible)

goremancer··1 votes·1,666 views

(updated) (gold will not be part of the rework anymore) (not an item rework anymore) (This more like a vendor and item slot rework)

The Bestow concept is a logic fix from items being bought but never actually used not even holstered anywhere on the champion

This is reworking about the vendor into something that gives champions power from the items at the store imbuing/channel/passing it into their weapons or armor or skin or scales or mind, or body or their whatever

-This way it would be less of a hassle and not needing to rework and/or rename Items (the old idea this was a rework to all items)

-The only things that would be reworked is the 6 item slots of the champion and the vendor (but if they want to go lazier they can keep the six item slot)

-This would fix the "logic" issue of gaining items' power without using the item itself

-Gold would not be reworked in addition

-no lore change in the items (if it has one) would be changed

(but if riot is interested in reworking the 6 item slot) This concept is also purely like skin does not do anything but to look pretty...I think the rework I thought of for the 6 item slot would be the characters outlines and circles glowing on their weapon, head, body, hands, and feet/legs/tail with additional outerlayers

The glow indicates how strong their bonus stat boost from the item bought

legs - movespeed (white) hands/arm - attackspeed (orange) head - mana (light blue) (outer layer) head - ability power (violet) body - health (green) weapon - damage (red)

three outer layers

1st layer yellow - critical 2nd layer red - armor 3rd layer blue - magic resist

Champions like Kog'maw would go like outer tongue (damage) inner tongue (attackspeed) and others will would be changed in a manner that fits the item empowering them

What do you think? comment below and tell me

Personally, I like it, but it doesn't solve any problems or actually change anything. So it would short and long term be a waste of time/effort/resources.

Was there a step two to your plan here?

I gave a lot of thought and I changed the "bestow" rework please check it out and I want to know about your opinion about what I've changed

You know summoners arent canon right?

Also how would Ornn work, and what about item buy quotes?

goremancer1 votes

So summoner spells are imaginary in the game and sona does not call you a summoner?

This concept also suppose to make summoner (us) to be more involve on our champions

Ornn might be reworked in a very small scale for him to forge his own blessing/power-up for this concept to work

Terozu1 votes

Yes summoners spells are imaginary, and Sona is outdated.

We as summoners are no longer canon.

Terozu1 votes

Whats your point? Us as Summoners are non-canon. Also you're*

goremancer1 votes

Ahhh the typical "you're*" grammar correcting I am sure that greatly support your argument and also makes you better than everyone else.

I do not know if you read it or you are way up on your high horse that you can't

We (using the summoners as a avatar) are very much involve in-game and pre-match

Summoners collects champions by "influence" empower champions using runes, support champions using the SUMMONER SPELLS Summoners are canon in the game and if you are talking about some kind of story or something else I do not know about it.

If summoners are not canon in game why did riot still include these mechanics like the runes and spells?

Please do tell me why are summoners not canon?

'Triggered!' Lol

And because the institute of war doesnt exist. We arent canon. Neither does IP btw, its blue essence now.

And theyre still included as remnants the old lore thats getting phased out.

Like when they changed Lux's "Tactical descision simmoner!"

"Triggered Lol" am I talking to a kid? If I am "triggered" then I should have been cussing you out on capslock, while reporting your comment like an actual triggered person would but no, what I am implying on my last comment that correcting someones' grammar or typo in an argument like that is petty and irrelevant on this argument.

Now back to planet earth It seems you had a hard time reading my previous comments so let me write it again.

We are canon in the game and if you are talking about some kind of story or something else I do not know about it.

after looking into your "institute of war" you were referring to the story of the game that makes my point valid the game is separate from the story which means summoners are canon game-wise not lore/story-wise.

Which turns us back to the concept about changing the items into some sort of power up that we summoners that would bestow upon our champions.

You are clearly triggered, and Riot is attempting to remove all aspects of summoners from in game due to it being noncanon.

Deal with it.

goremancer1 votes

I clearly proved my point that summoners is canon to the game not lore-wise and instead of admitting you are wrong, you change the topic into "Riot is attempting to remove all aspects of summoners from in game due to it being noncanon." that does not disprove my argument and I grew tired doing all the research here.

Let's end it here right now

Please give me proof to back up this claim of yours like riot announcing it, NO SPECULATIONS, NO THEORIES, NO MAYBES, NO UNCERTAINTIES and I will admit defeat

Terozu1 votes

The game is a what if scenario. It doesnt have its own canon. Summoners dont exist and your idea was a bad one since it ignored that.

If summoners are canon 'In game' why are they removing references to them? Thats not changing the subject its giving evidence. And if you want proof go back and check your own link lmao

Riot's response was

"the very idea of all-powerful Summoners made Champions little more than puppets manipulated by godlike powers"

Champions being aware of us controlling them would be very disturbing and weird if you think about it that is why they want to remove the champions referring to us summoners

but we are still involved in-game by the use of recall, runes and summoner spells Riot would have removed most of the aspects of summoners right about now if it would be true it has been almost 4 years

Terozu1 votes

Riot isnt going to remove them beacuse theyre an integral part of the game's balance. And they are still going through and removing references. It's not an overnight task.

Summoners no longer exist as anything in game.

well that is your perspective and this is mine and it seems we cannot reach into an agreement and this is getting way off topic from my post so I'll agree to disagree and move on.

How about the reworking the vendor into something that gives champions power from the items at the store imbuing/channel/passing it into their weapons or armor or skin or scales or mind, or body or their whatever

-This way it would be less of a hassle and not needing to rework and/or rename Items -The only things that would be reworked is the 6 item slots of the champion and the vendor -This would fix the "logic" issue -Gold would not be reworked in addition -no lore change in the items (if it has one) would be changed

Is this better, or does it have any issue?

Except now every item would need an animation and, If you hadn't realized this is basically just old rune pages, but in game.

And why do we need this change, buying swords on archers and having them comment on it is half the fun.

goremancer1 votes

I am just merely suggesting this I did not say this is needed

This is just a little change there is no need to animate anything (if they can go lazy about this concept and also if they consider this) I just want to fix the "logic" of the leagues' items

OR

They can just announce "Items' power are now channeled to the champion and the six slot items only shows the item and the powers that was channeled to them it does not change anything but we would like you guys to know" if you want it the laziest way to apply this "fix" no animation, no rework, just some text changes

The joke is too old already it has been almost a decade, me and my friends are tired of hearing this and wanted it to stop but hey if you think it is still funny I have nothing against that.
