Year of Goat and Horse

Alright to start out; I'm pretty sure this is going to get down-voted like hell and probably overall ignored and/or flamed; but I was considering writing this for a while now and my friends said to go for it because they agree so here I go. Now I always kind of took the whole "we didn't have time" reason as something fair and reasonable. Skins are a form of art and as an artist I know darn well you can't just have someone say "make this" and it just comes to you. It could take a long time to finally get a unique idea that feels right and looks good. But the zodiac is a yearly cycle that is something well known and can literally be googled; because of this time isn't something that is lacking to come up with a Lunar skin for the upcoming cycle. That said, I understand that no year has been ignored completely and all of them have gotten some sort of skin, ward or icon to commemorate them. But when you look at some of the years passed and the year of the dog coming up you know that ideas/skins for champions can be created to show off that year in style. Year of the Goat (Ram/Sheep) is my Year and when it rolled around I was looking forward to having stuff to go with it to celebrate the year I was proud to be born in. Even something like a ward would have been good, a skin was probably asking too much; but after seeing the Year of the Snake and Monkey (Cass and Wukong) I got excited that maybe our favorite Goat mom Soraka would get a skin. I don't play her but it would have been a skin I picked up regardless just so I could play it and overall be a dork. However nothing came; not even cool wards and such, instead we got a Jinx skin which had dragons all over the place; a Katarina skin which had literally nothing to mark it as any year and Nidalee who is a cat (or tiger in this case).... I was to say the least annoyed and disappointed; they were nice skins but what did they have anything to do with Year of the Goat? I can't look at them and go "oh yea that year." Now we did get an icon for year of the goat; but that was it. For wards that year we got year of the Horse wards; due to them not having the time the previous year I imagine. I dunno I guess at this point i'm clearly ranting but moving on. Year of the horse? No Hecarim skin for that; just Riven, Tryn and Diana and plenty of icons to go along with them. (Again the horse wards were added this year.) Now we come to the current year. Year of the dog. They give the reasoning for Lux getting yet another skin alongside the two famous dogs of League. Now I get what they said they were trying to do this year for it; the good and bad dog idea is pretty cool actually. But it's further proof that cool skins can be made to completely represent a zodiac cycle. And I get it; this is old stuff, the years are long gone and I should get over it already. But literally every lunar revel event that comes along since the Year of the Goat and Year of the Horse just makes it more and more frustrating to see cool skins that actually represent the year and in a cool way; yet my year and my mom's year are just left to rot with skins that have nothing to do with them. I understand this will just be lost among the masses just like so many that were made about this issue that year, but i just wanted to throw out to Riot that I still hope that maybe now that we have three goats/sheep/rams. That maybe they could find the time to consider giving a skin to one of them and maybe even Hecarim once some time has passed that he hasn't gotten a skin. It's just a small hope and to all those that read this; yea I get it, it's old stuff they most likely aren't going to do it because they have better things to do with their time and more popular champions that they can make far more money from skin wise. I'm not stupid I know how this works; but if maybe Riot sees that it's still something people are hoping for they might consider it. Give us goats some love. :D
