Champion Concept: Gem and Nye, the Soulbound Twins
Alright, so I thought about maybe having 2 champions as 1. While Kindred, by the looks of things, stole a bit of my thunder here, I'm thinking of a champion that's made up of 2 different champions, not just champion+companion duos. This is what happened: Splash Art: None, I can't draw. Feel free to draw, I'd imagine it as 2 (Possibly 13-15 year old) children (A boy and a girl) with a Thresh-style soul chain linking them together. Nye carries a dagger while Gem carries a crossbow. Passive: 2 Heads are better.../Soulbound (2 aspects) 2 heads are better: While Nye is switched out, he passively doubles Gem's health restoration. While Gem is switched out, she passively doubles Nye's mana regeneration. Soulbound: If Nye dies, Gem is unable to move more than a short distance away from where he lies. He passively revives himself over 10 seconds unless Gem is killed in that time. If Gem dies the same thing happens to Nye. Q: Pierce/Throw While Gem is switched in, Q fires a skillshot bolt that deals damage to all enemies it passes through. As it goes, it ramps up 10% bonus damage for each unit struck (Maximum 50% bonus). While Nye is switched in, Q makes him throw his dagger, with identical effect to Gem's Q. W: Bind Regardless of who is switched in, Bind separates Gem and Nye a short distance of the summoner's choice, lengthening the chain between them. Both Gem and Nye have their health bars exposed during this time. If the chain hits an enemy wile they are running with it extended, it roots them to the spot and pulls Gem and Nye back together. E: Leg-up/Flip While Gem is switched in, E makes Nye grab her from behind and flip her in a target direction. Afterwards, Nye dashes to follow and Gem gains increased attack speed. While Nye is switched in, E makes Gem give Nye a leg-up, flipping him towards an enemy champion. Nye lands on them with his dagger, dealing damage and stunning them for a short time. Gem dashes behind him to follow. R: Swap out Passive: Gem and Nye are separate champions, giving them separate health and mana bars. Only one can be active at a time, while the other person supports. Gem is a ranged champion, while Nye is melee but deals slightly more damage. Each champion starts with roughly 400 health, and items granting health split the bonus between them. The same goes for mana. Active: If Gem is swapped in, R switches her with Nye, becoming untargetable while Nye becomes targetable again. While Nye is switched in, R makes him swap places with Gem, making him untargetable while Gem becomes targetable again. While a champion is switched out, they slowly recover health and mana. Position: Possibly ADC, or top laner. Attributes: Fighter/Marksman Lore: In a cave somewhere on the outskirts of Ionia, 2 children were born. As they grew, they were trained as warriors, and they each came to find their favourite weapons. One became skilled with a crossbow, while the other was trained to fight with a dagger. At 10, they had become massively skilled fighters, and developed a strong bond with each other. Whilst training in secret one night, one of them heard something stir outside of the cave. They went to investigate, only to find their once-great master, flayed and cut almost beyond recognition. His face was pale and his eyes rolled back. The girl heard his voice somewhere in the distance, screaming in pain. The twins went towards the source of the noise, and found a ghostly shell of their master, being tormented by a terrifying, skeletal being with a lantern and hooked chain. It stared directly at the twins, before releasing a cloud of green mist and vanishing, along with the soul of the twins' master. The green mist solidified into a chain, shackling the two terrified children together for eternity. As they heard that the skeletal being was a part of the League of Legends, they honed their skills fighting together and joined the League, vowing one day to slay the demon, free their master and release themselves from the chains that bound them.
