Just had a cool idea for another sword-based character for league. The ones we have now are pretty cool but I think the swordsman archetype is one of the coolest design spaces with a ton of possibility. Also I'm not really going to get into the math-scaling-numbers stuff since I can barely understand it when I read it. Here goes.

The champion is a teenager, maybe Ekko's age. He walks arrogantly and has medium length brown or black hair. On his back are two sword holders (quivers, what do you call a case to hold swords?).

He was a chosen one among the ionian swordsmen the latter parts of yasuo's training. He was raised with the sword and taught much more than the other students as well as being given special techniques. The child was prideful though and his skill went to his head. He would often flaunt his swordsmanship among his peers by fighting with barrels of blades: one for each stab, stroke, or parry. He was not evil though and he upheld the Ionian traditions faithfully (think Damian Wayne from Batman) until the whole yasuo debackle and exile. The boy had been taken away to safety during the fighting; his mentors not believing that he was ready. When he returned home and saw the ruin caused by the Noxian invasion, he grew angry with his teachers thinking that he could have prevented this. He ends up leaving Ionia with his many blades on his back as only a teenager set on defeating the entire Noxian army by himself, one blade for each hundred men.

In game he would have a similar mechanic to Katarina, something where he'd throw up to three blades into the air on each ability cast and dashing to one would refresh some of his cds. His ultimate would involve throwing a number of blades out into a large circle around him scaling with the amount of nearby enemies. For a few seconds he'd gain unstoppable and vastly increased movement speed while in the zone of his swords. Enemies in the area are slowed and grounded.

All in all he'd be an arrogant boy who wants to defeat an entire empire just as much to prove himself as to avenge his nation. He'd be feisty but likeable and have some cool interactions with sword champs and some pretty scathing ones with Noxians. (He'd also have an interaction with Bard because Bard doesn't have enough interactions for being the cosmic guardian.

Sword carriers are called sheathes.

Jeremia, The Young Swordsman HP: 560-1630 HP Regen: 8-16 Secondary Bar Tracks Never Enough AD: 62-124 Attack Speed: .625 (+3.4% per level) Movement Speed: 340 Attack Range: 125 Armor: 33-68 Magic Resist: 27-45

Passive: Never enough - Jeremia carries a total of 11 blades with him, 10 carried around in sheathes while 1 is always in hand. Upon attacking an enemy, he drops a sword at the location of the enemy. After 1 second, it can be picked up for a 1 second decrease to all of his cooldowns. Additionally, these swords interact with his other abilities. The final sword cannot be dropped. These swords only return to him when picked up, upon successful recall, on death, or when he leaves 2500 units of the sword.

Q: Iron Wind - Jeremia dashes up to 400 in the direction of a sword or up to 200 units in the direction of an enemy. Any enemies he passes over take 40/60/80/100/120 +60/70/80/90/100% BonusAD physical damage. Has an 8 second cooldown and cannot target the same enemy for the dash within 10 seconds.

W: Ambidexterity - Jeremia can basic attack two units at the same time if they are within range. Attacking while this is active deals 60/65/70/75/80% damage. Toggled ability with a 1 second cooldown between toggles. While this is toggled, he is forced to hold an additional sword. Cannot be toggled with no free swords.

E: Whirlwind - Jeremia targets an enemy within 125 units. On activation, he spins around at irresponsible speeds, dealing 60/75/90/105/120 +40% BonusAD physical damage per second for up to 3 seconds. During this time, he is slowed by 50% and cannot use other effects, however he is unaffected by CC (the effect still registers, but doesn't do anything during the cast). After it ends or is disabled by pressing the button again, Jeremia gains 25% movement speed towards enemy champions for double the duration he was using Whirlwind. Has a 24/22/20/18/16 second cooldown. The damage stops if the target leaves the effect radius, but can still go off if they return.

R: Iron Halo - Jeremia stops for .5 seconds and flings all of his remaining swords in a circle around him. They land at even intervals 300 units away from him. For the next 8 seconds, picking up a sword decreases cooldowns by 2 seconds instead. These swords have no preparation time. Has a 120 second cooldown which is always reduced by 2 seconds when Jeremia picks up a sword.
