With The Release Of Smart Pings, Past Perma Banned Players For Toxic Behavior Should Be Perma Muted

TL;DR: I believe previous players permanently banned for toxic behavior should be permanently muted instead while being labeled "permanently muted" for everyone to see with no five stack messaging like the 10-25 game chat restrictions. If negative behavior continues outside of the chat (AFKing, intentionally feeding, etc.) their account then should be permanently banned.

With smart pings being a thing now, to some extent, there is no reason for some people to use the chat, such as myself.

As a toxic player, I have been permanently banned many times not for AFKing, not for intentionally feeding, but for being toxic alone. Despite playing well and even winning many of the games I'm toxic in, stacking an average of a 60-70% win rate as a Kayle one trick, I've realized that people don't even care if you win the game for your team or not.

Chat restrictions would help with toxic urges to an extent, but now that you can't even stack chat restrictions anymore, getting permanently banned is a lot easier as the first account I got permanently banned on was an account I've owned since December, 2012 which was finally permanently banned on May, 2016. It took me years to get my first perma ban and now it only takes me a matter of weeks to get a perma ban as I have gotten 5 more accounts permanently banned as of September, 2016 after my first account was banned in May of this year from toxicity alone.

Coming from a toxic player, there is no reason for people like us to use the chat. Hitting enter and typing away is very easy and hard to set oneself back from doing for certain people which is why it's so hard for people such as myself to stop being toxic because the enter key is just so easy to hit and a lot harder to hold in all that anger instead of venting it out in chat. But what if there was a way for a toxic player to not be able to type in chat at all?

The release of smart pings has made it possible for people to communicate more efficiently without having to type in chat. As I've stated earlier, people who are toxic, myself for example, have no business typing in the chat as the only things we type in the chat are 60% negative. A solution to have zero urges to type in chat would be the option of permanently muting. Not messages ranging up to five uses, a flat perma mute. Not being able to type at all to teammates.

I believe that past players permanently banned for toxic behavior regarding being negative in the chat should be unbanned and instead become permanently muted. Players who are permanently muted should be labeled with it so other players can see that the player is permanently muted, forever scarring the toxic player's profile (and in-game) forever. Things I believe should be permanently bannable are AFKing, feeding, hacking, account buying, etc.

These are just my thoughts since typing in the chat generally is not required in the game to an extent anymore since the release of smart pings. Toxic players are still players and as long as they are not griefing the game by AFKing or feeding intentionally, the way to stop these toxic players from being toxic is to remove their chatting capabilities. The reason some of us are toxic/negative is generally because we have a more competitive nature than other people, a different way of competitiveness, and some of us just need a way to vent out the anger which is then resulted into chat.

EDIT #2: I'm pretty sure I've made it clear in the post, but if permanently muting doesn't work and people find a way to grief by AFKing, trolling, intentionally feeding, etc, then they should be permanently banned (for those of you who just read the TL;DR and go your merry way.)

I hope you realize that they tried this already and in majority of the cases with toxic players they will find a way to get back at these people by trolling, afk, feeding. So why bother implementing something that isn't going to work? Let alone the fact that they can just skip the whole process of that even happening by just banning people who break the rules!

With that said I hope you know the people who are permaban are more than just toxic players. So I'm not sure why you think that unbanning every single permaban player only to give them a permamute would even attempt to solve the problem when people have been for other reasons like feeding, trolling, afk, as well as cheating/hacking/boosting! You are just giving them another chance (of the other chances they had in the past) for hem to ruin even more games till they are finally caught again!

Honestly though as you say you are a toxic player, how hard is it to just not use chat/hit the enter key? Is it that difficult to follow such an easy rule?

Nah. You don't get to complain. If you didn't want to be permanently banned, maybe you should've listened and changed when you got hit with the earlier tiers of punishment. Or you know, just not have been toxic in the first place.
