Bard with a Pikmen inspired skin would be so fitting. Inspired off of Olimar, you could make him 'Astronaut Bard' and he throws his meeps like the Pikmen. Give him the astronaut look, his chimes could be bottle caps or fruit, and a rocket for his recall?

I had this exact same idea back when Bard was released. Something like Bardonaut and it would be an epic skin or something. He get's the 3 basic Pikmin from the start and as he collects more Pikmin (Bells will be underground Pikmin with a leaf or flower) he can unlock the other colors/shapes.
The recall can be the end of the day animation and the healing pedestals could be spaceship parts.
But then I discussed it with my friends and we realized copyright with Nintendo would be a female dog.
I want gentalmen bard still! Bard + tophat = success
