Nau, NAU-DQ-9
I'm posting my friend's new champion concept this his idea...he does want to remain kind of anonymous, mostly because he doesn't use the Boards anyways and is hoping it will get noticed on reddit instead. So here we go:
(Slight note...there will be no numbers because he decided that if this ever becomes a real thing, he's going to let Riot do the numbers, he's just going to do concepts.)
NAU-DQ-9(or Nau)(also, no title because he legitimately never thought of one)
> Nau is Piltover's answer to Zac, after discovering that he exists, and in fear that Zaun might attempt to create another super soldier, Piltover scientists used nanotechnology, hextechnology, and a powerful hivemind AI to create Nau, they bestowed Nau with 12 forms, each one having a different purpose on the battlefield, but they didn't give him the ability to switch between forms at will. He is to become Piltover's newest weapon for the coming war with Zaun, and has joined the Fields of Justice as a trainging exercise by his creators, to see if he is truly the weapon they need.
Alright, so Nau has a two part passive, the first part is on all versions of Nau, the second passive changes depending on what form he is in.
Passive 1: Nano-adaptability: At the beginning of each game, Nau must pick a form before being able to buy items or leave the fountain, there are 12 forms, each with different abilities, this choosing process automatically closes out 30 before minions spawn(or 1:30 after reconnecting to a game, if Nau was DC'ed at the start of it), if he has not chosen a form by then, he will default to form 6: Minstrel.
- Form 1: Warrior
Melee Bruiser
P: Falcon Strike: After casting an ability, Nau's next auto in the next few seconds will strike twice, the second strike dealing reduced damage, both strikes will apply on-hit effects. After the auto is completed, the passive will not be activated again for a medium duration(so there is a cooldown between uses, unlike some people have)
Q: Healing Slash: Nau's next basic attack will strike with increased damage and heal Nau for a percentage of all damage dealt by that auto. Mana cost: medium CD: No less than 6 seconds at max rank(with max CDR)
W: Fearless: Nau punches a nearby enemy dealing low damage and applying an after-effect, if it hits a minion, the minion is terrified(make the terrify the same duration as Voli's). If he hits an enemy champion, they deal reduced damage(keep this under 35% at max rank) for the next few seconds. Range: Basically melee Mana cost: high CD: No less than 10 seconds at max rank(with max CDR)
E: Shield Slam: Nau dashes in target direction dealing damage(this would scale with Bonus Armor and Bonus MR) and stopping on the first enemy champ hit, stunning them briefly.It knocks all enemy minions aside, dealing reduced damage to them. Range: What's the range of the average dash because it should be about that. Mana cost: medium CD: No less than 8 seconds at max rank(with max CDR)
R: Finishing Slash: Nau rushes towards target enemy champion, upon arrival Nau performs a massive slash, dealing a massive amount of flat damage. Range: long(we actually did talk about this one...~1000 unit range) Mana cost: Medium CD: Long

Ranged Support
P: Mark of the Holy: Single-target spells Nau casts on allies also increases armor and MR by a flat amount for a few seconds. (Yes, he came up with this before Windspeaker's was announced, yes, it does stacks, yes, the Armor and MR amount would be small, we ain't having it so he can give 50 armor to your tank or shit like that)
Q: Antimagic: Nau raises his staff/wand(we don't know), silencing target enemy for a short duration and dealing a very small amount of damage to them if he interrupts a channel or cast time. Range: Medium Mana cost: Medium CD: No less than 6 seconds(with max CDR)
W: Holy Light: Nau heals target ally by a decent amount.(what, you seriously think it would do more?) Range: Same as the range for Soraka's heal...maybe a little bit larger since he doesn't have the Ambulance passive. Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 6 seconds(with max CDR)
E: Benediction: Nau cleanses target ally of all CC(except Suppression) and most Debuffs. Range: Shorter than Holy Light's, but not under 400 Mana Cost: High CD: No less than 12 seconds(with max CDR)
R: Choir of Angels: Nau heals all allies and cleanses them of all CC and debuffs(this includes Supression, Death Mark, Nightfall, Fiora ult, and all other really annoying shit that can't be normally cleansed), but only if they are within a certain range of him. Range: No more than 1500, because teamfights can be huge, but it shouldn't be a semi-global Mana Cost: High CD: Long(we're talking Karthus ult long, and that's when Nau hits max CDR)
- Form 3: Mage
Ranged Mage(please tell me you weren't thinking this would be something else)
P: Focused Anger: All of Nau's spells gain a special effect at max rank. In addition, Nau converts 3% of his max Mana into extra AP
Q: Fireball(Max rank: Sunbringer): Nau shoots fire at target enemy, dealing damage, at max rank the damage is increased and deals 50% damage in a small AOE around the main target. Range: Medium AOE at max rank: Small Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 4 seconds(on max CDR)
W: Icicle(Max Rank: Absolute Zero): Nau drops an Icicle at target location, damaging enemies in a small AOe, and slowing them by a decent amount for a short duration, at max rank, the AOE is increased, and after a short delay, all enemies within the AOE take damage and are stunned briefly, then a slow field is left behind for short time. Range: Medium(smaller than Fireball's range) AOE: Small(increased by 50% at max rank) Slow Duration(keep in under 2 seconds) Delay at max rank: .5 seconds...maybe, idk Mana Cost: medium CD: No less than 6 seconds(with max CDR)
E: Whirlwind(Max Rank: Hurricane): Nau launches a small twister in target direction, knocking up minions and slowing enemy champions for a short duration caught in the path, at max rank the width size is doubled and enemy champions are now knocked up as well. Range: Long(about ~1000) Width: Small(doubles at max rank) Mana Cost: High CD: No less than 10 seconds(with max CDR)
R: Explosion(Max Rank: Earthshatter): Nau summons explosions at a target area, dealing damage to every enemy caught in the AOE, at max rank the damage is doubled and all enemies that survive take increased damage for several seconds. Range: Medium AOE: Large Mana Cost: High CD: Long
- Form 4: Martial Artist
Melee Assassin
P: Hardclaw: Basic attacks deal only 75% damage, but it deals the damage in a small cone in front of Nau(This is an on-attack, not an on-hit effect)
Q: Multistrike: Nau deals a a bunch of quick strikes in a small AOE, each enemy caught in the AOE is hit only once, each strike applies on-hit effect. Range: Medium AOE: Small Mana Cost: Medium CD No less than 4 seconds(with max CDR)
W: Mind Over Matter: Nau cleanses himself of most CC's(No Surpression) and heals himself for a percent of his missing health Mana Cost: High CD: No less than 12 seconds(with max CDR)
E: War Cry: Nau shouts loudly, briefly terrifying all nearby enemies and giving him a damage buff for a short duration. AOE: Small Damage Buff Duration: Short Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 6 seconds(with max CDR)
R: Demon's Hand: Nau rushes to an enemy champion, dealing physical damage and launches himself and his target into the air, and then slams his target back into the ground dealing bonus physical damage based on a percentage of the target's missing health. Range: Medium Mana Cost: High CD: Long
- Form 5: Rogue/Thief
Melee Assassin
P: Master Thief/Looter: Dealing damage to enemy champions gives Nau a small amount of gold and any minions that Nau did not last hit gives Nau a very small amount of gold Range of minion death: Same as the range of Ancient Coin's passive
Q: Poisoned Dagger: Passively Nau's basic attacks deal extra magic damage, when activated, Nau's next basic attack deals even more bonus magic damage and poisons the target for a short duration. Poison duration: About 2 seconds Mana Cost: Low CD: No less than 6 seconds(with max CDR)
W: Pitfall Trap: Nau digs a pitfall trap, enemy minions and small monsters that fall into the trap instantly die, enemy champions are stunned for a small duration and take a small amount of true damage. Range to put down Trap: Melee(you're digging a pitfall trap, what range did you expect it to be?) AOE: Somewhere between Cait traps and Teemo Shrooms Trap Duration: Several minutes Mana Cost: Low(Why does digging a pitfall trap cost mana, because reasons) CD: No less than 12 seconds(with max CDR)
E: Soul Thief: Nau strikes with his dagger, dealing physical damage healing himself for a large portion of the damage dealt. Range: Melee Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 8 seconds(with max CDR)
R: Assassin Stab: Nau blinks behind target enemy champion and deals damage based on a large percentage of the enemies max health. Killing the target refunds part of the cooldown. Range: The same as most targeted dashes...maybe a little longer Mana Cost: High CD: Long
- Form 6: Minstrel
Ranged Support
Passive: Tap Dance: After casting an ability, for the next few seconds, Nau dodges the next basic attack and takes a small percentage of reduced damage during that time.
Q: Whip Lash: Nau whips target enemy, slowing them for a short duration and marking them for a longer one, if the target is hit again while marked, the target is instead stunned and then can't be marked for the next 15 seconds. Range: Similar as Minstrel's Auto range Mark Duration: About 10 seconds Mana Cost: Medium CD: No longer than 2 seconds(with max CDR)
W: Hustle Shuffle: Nau does a little dance, gets down tonight, and heals himself and nearby allies by a small amount and giving them a decent movespeed boost for a short duration. Range: About as large as the area for Monsoon or Grand Challenge's heal AOE Movespeed buff duration: About 2 seconds Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 7 seconds(with max CDR)
E: Rhumba: Nau does a dance and boosts the AD and attack speed of all nearby allies for a few seconds. Range: Same as Hustle Shuffle Buff Duration: A few seconds Mana Cost: Medium CD: No less than 10 seconds(At max CDR)
R: Have A Ball: Nau juggles five balls and launches them at target enemy champion, slowing them for several seconds and the five balls are launched into the air, the balls then randomly come down hitting the ground(Will be in an AOE around the target), and if it hits another unit, the ball will instead bounce back to Nau, each ball that bounces back reduces the CD by a small amount. Range: Same as Syndra ult Ball falling AOE: about 700 Mana Cost: High CD: High
