Blood Moon Karma

Been working on this over the last few days as part of concept practice. The gold coloring of the 2017 icon made me realize how the concept could really tie in with her. It's a bit late, considering the Blood Moon event is almost up, but I hope you like the idea!

Edit: I've been getting a few comments about her mask, so I'll probably be changing it up. Does anyone happen to know the name of those demonish masks? Are they all just considered Kabuki/Oni/Yokai mask, or are there more specific names? Thanks!

Not gonna lie, I can't stand Karma and was going into this thread with the mindset "omg, please no, bloodmoon is one of my favourite skin lines".

Then I saw your picture and have to admit... it fits perfectly fine and I actually didn't think of giving that bloodmoon symbol as the mantra on her back. That looks just genius.

Congratulations, you even convinced an official Karma-hater to support your idea. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

What was your reasoning in the mask choice? Shinobu?

I also had that thought that Karma really fits well into the Blood Moon theme and I hope that she will eventually get a skin for the line. Your concept art looks great, I really dig it ^_^

I absolutely love this concept! It looks wonderful; the crescent mantle, the color scheme, and even the claws on her right hand :D. My only dislike honestly is the mask being shaped like a dog/wolf, as most of the other blood moon skins have really detailed masks that instead fit the shape of their face, not just an animal. Maybe if it had a horn, or some shattered portions to it, it would feel a bit more blood-moon-ish, but otherwise I'm in love with the work.

i love the idea of a bloodmoon karma, but i have a feeling its not possible cause of the sakura karma that already exists. But if i were riot id change the mask into something similar to that of bloodmoon zilean and a short version of bloodmoon diana white hair. I love her armor, the only problem i had with it is that it makes her look more of a battle mage than a real mage so i would suggest having some kind of kimono dress that goes over that armor but would also be visible like the cloth goes over the side of the armor. I really like the back piece and i think you did a really good job on it ^_^
