Champ bans leading to accidental queue dodge

So basically I dodged a game because time ran out while I was doing a quick search in another window . I took the penalty and have no complaint for that as I should be watching the screen. A second queue dodge came because my champ was banned by someone on my team while "not paying attention" and I only noticed it at last second and scrambled to select another support. Time ran out and I got penalized. Would it be a good idea to add a few seconds bonus time (maybe 5 seconds) in the case of your champ being added to the ban list? Either that or maybe have a penalty reduction when that specific scenario occurs? Any thoughts?

I mean you could you know pay attention next time. You really only have yourself to blame since you seem to do other things than paying attention in champ select. I mean I don't get why you need more time that you already have just because you aren't using your time wisely!

League is not built with distraction in mind. You join a game and you actively watch the lobby. Anything else is irrelevant and rightfully so. Anything you do besides watch the client is on you. We are lucky Riot's queue pop physically open leagues in front of most other programs. They didn't have to do that.
