Cardcaptor Twisted Fate

I'm surprised that with all the requests for a Duel-Disk-wielding Twisted Fate over the years, not a single person has gone as far as to try and create an image based on the idea (yet I see at least two different designs of a Michael Jackson inspired TF)...So I basically took a crack at it.

Yes, this drawing is in the ghetto-cartoony stage, because surprisingly, just drawing, scanning, and doing the basic colorfill of this took me a good portion of today. I can work more on the little details it if it's wanted.

Aside from the obvious Kaiba references, I modeled the Duel Disk off of the Rune Stone from the Lost Kingdoms series. It was an enjoyable pair of games that revolved around summoning Monsters from thrown cards...Sort of a mash-up between Yugioh and Pokemon. (I also thought of an Eternum Nocturne blade as a nice "Duel Disk" as well). (Here's another pic I liked)

I feel that TF's current model, with its butt-cape and large-brimmed hat, would not need to be heavily edited/changed to form a suitable costume such as this. The purple was/is optional, but I felt that white would be too obvious a reference, and black was done well enough by PAX TF and the Classic Skin. I wanted to add a Scouter/Duel Gazer as well, but perhaps it could be some sort of Sapphire Crystal or something of that nature over his eye instead.

I'm surprised TF does not yet have a Van Helsing style hat, so he dons one here complete with the vampire hunter's shaggy wavy hair. I don't know why, but I Was feelin' like funky, high-heeled boots and fingerless gloves with this costume. (Though for me, hands are easier to draw with fingerless gloves on them for some reason)

Although at first I thought this would make an awesome Legendary/Ultimate Skin idea, with monsters flying out of the cards as he throws them (Like Yugioh and Lost Kingdoms), it could make a perfectly fine 750/975 RP Skin too, if he could simply be animated to wield, draw and throw cards the way anime characters do. All I'd request further is one extra line for him when he uses his Ultimate...
