Why has Kennen not had a new skin since 2011?

Currently only 4 champs have not had a new skin since 2011:

From those 4 it has been stated that Yorick and Taric will get new skins, but only after their reworks, so they are excused for now, meaning we have 2 left.

Sion is excusable since he had that massive overhaul recently with completely new models and all, so he is excused as well.

Kennen, however, has no such excuse. It has been 4 years since he has had a new skin, and for a champion that is perfectly fine there is 0 excuse as to why he has yet to have a new skin. Are there even any skins planned for him or did you guys just forget about him completely?

Probably because every time they try to make on for Kennen but then they just go "But wouldn't it be cuter if this was Teemo?"

I actually think Kennen is in Line for a vu. He hasn't been listed for one but I think he is on the list of Yordles who need to be updated into the Gnar style of Yordles. Like Tristana was and Poppy is about to be. I think kennen's kit is fine so they will likely give him visual tweaks only. This is my only guess as to why he hasn't had a skin.

Most likely kennen will be visually reworked before receiving any new skins his model is out of date (even with the visual upgrade he received a while back he's still not up to date with the yordle look).

If Kennen was to get a new skin, I'd imagine he'd get a new model for it though indeed it has been too long since he received his last skin in 2011. It's odd considering that Riot mentioned not too long ago that Kennen wasn't under development for a VU/kit change yet at the moment, so I'd imagine he'll get a skin in a near future patch.

Kassadin is getting his new skin next patch, so let's hope Kennen gets his new skin soon too. I feel he's underrated in popularity as of late too.

You forgot that he even has 1-2 skins (dont remember exactly) that went to the legacy vault. Kennen needs love plz rito :D
