What are your do's and dont's on a skin?

Like I understand some concepts for a skin may be good but it just seems like it'll never happen just because of the concept, Like from my previous posts I made I brought up skins for Yasuo that make sense, But recently I've seen ideas like "Painter Yasuo." or "Skater yasuo" Those seem really unrealistic for the champion. So I was wondering what are the standards on making a skin for a champion?

P.s. Project Vi.... wink wink nudge nudge Or you know, Any of my Yasuo suggestions are amazing TuT

I personally like those Yasuo ideas. I mean if EVERY skin had to do with the champion concept then none of the skins would be goofy or fun. Y'know how there's Archlight Vayne/Varus? How those two are pretty much good guy champs? Well then why in the fluff did they make an Archlight Vel'koz. I would totally buy a Project Vi skin if Rito did make one. But hey if you got an idea you feel good about just keep posting it til people listen.

There's no strict policy we have when it comes to creating a skin. Each skin is a case by case basis. We keep some general guidelines in mind, though.

Is this a cool thematic that really pushes an alternative fantasy for x champion?
(When concepting) Does this skin/these particles still read as x champion?

Our goal in the end is to create an awesome skin that players really enjoy, and as I've mentioned, there are many ways to get there. Sometimes, it's making them into a sweet mech (Mecha Malphite), or sometimes, it's taking a champion and flipping who they are (Marauder and Warden lines).

I think Painter Yasuo isn't unrealistic for the champion - it brings a really cool particle set to the champion, and something that is super different from his other skins. I haven't seen Skater Yasuo, but based on the name, I think you're right in that it seems a bit more unrealistic.

PROJECT: Vi has potential to be cool, since having Vi decked out in a crazy metal outfit with bright particles could be pretty different from anything she already has. (Neon Strike will probably forever be my favorite, though).

Im telling you, Race Car Rek'sai is where it's at! Her tunnels are connected by roadways and the tunnel entrances are car tires. Her ult makes a race car going really fast sound. Riot plz. item 3070
