Make loot and crafting more long term freindly
I have noticed how difficult that obtaining key fragments can be very difficult. At times i feel like obtaining key fragments is more rewarding than that of an entire chest which feels entirely just too arbitrary. This means that although the chest that metaphorically contains the item in which you, the player, wants to open is forced to want the item in which to open it more due to the scarcity. So literally the chests are a giant tease and piss them off. Although the chests do have there large amount of uses(Ex: free choice of skins that are free and can be more than one per month), they do create a platform of achievements that cannot be achieved by effort and skill.
This is where my thought came in to make crafting keys from IP. Since League of Legends is getting somewhat old now, it needs to start recognizing the older players since beta. Overall the loot crafting will not really re-engage old players because this is really a system to engage newer players. Having it so that the beta players feel recognized by riot is by giving the loot crafting system an ability to buy keys with IP since most older players have their IP stockpiling with nothing to use it for. An issue with this is that anybody then would be able to get the keys. However, since it is IP, and the rate of IP obtained by an average player a day can be determined, it would be nonetheless extremely easy to price it appropriately for riot so that it takes the monthly behavior that they intend it.
In Conclusion, the loot and crafting system seems to be a fantastic take on the monthly mystery chest with a little individuality in the mix. It contains potential to give older players a feeling of recognition. Last but not least, can be easily balanced _unlike the juggernauts
