Having More Things To Use IP On

Ok. Let's mention reality here. There are a lot of people who own all the champs, all the runes, and everything else you can get with IP. Because, this game has been out since 2009. There are people close to owning all the champs, people who started saving up for all the champs, etc. But, in the end what's the outcome? We have leftover IP that is completely useless until new champs come out. But, even then we still have a shit ton of IP left. Now I know people claim riot is all about the money and shit. But, I don't believe this is the full case. Because, they actually give us a chance to get free skins even if they're through shards.

I met someone who said he had 28,000 IP and nothing to spend it on. The realization that will happen to me one day kinda impacted me. Cause I'm just about to hit Champ number 30 in the time span of 2 months (I don't play that often).

So the idea I have is this: Why can't we use IP to get skins and gift people things as well? I noticed if ya wanna give a friend a gift you gotta use RP. But nobody has money like that. Especially the kids that play, or the adults that need the money for stuff they need in their everyday lives.

Before people say "Oh Riot only wants your money" or "They'll never do this" etc. etc. How do we know? I'm not asking Riot to make the IP prices the same for gifting. I'm not asking Riot to put 6300 IP on a skin. In fact I don't want that. The idea I have is increase the IP.

Life is about equal exchange always. So what if Riot just doubled or increased the price by half (i.e 6300 + 3,150 = 9,450 IP) the IP prices on champs when it came to gifting? What if Legendary skins costed 10,000 RP and Regular skins were just 7,000 or something? Gifting would just be half to double the IP. These are just a couple ideas though. If Riot was to do this I'm sure they'd think of a good pricing range.

But, what do you guys think? A lot of us will still spend money on Riot because we either want something fast or we're too busy to grind for something that is limited time. But, for those who have no money and a lot of time, they actually have a chance to get things they want. I am the impatient person who will throw my money at Riot even if there's a chance to get it with IP. I mean, I BOUGHT VI WITH RP BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO GRIND. So no matter what they will still get their money. But at the same time people will have a reason to grind for more IP and stuff.
