There was too much visual clutter in it to remain like that. That is how concept art works; You do a concept that you base the skin off of. The splash art replicates the concept in an artistic/eye-catching way, and the in game model looks sleek so that it doesn't look blurry when not zoomed in on him.

I know this. I just feel like there's some part of that concept that makes it really awesome missing. Maybe I just like shiny lights.

Well i mean it does say Concept Art, and its a given its already out, so therefore one would be able to glean that it meant that these were , just as it says, concept art, before his actual ig skin was completed, meaning this is what he could have looked like. And at the end he states 'Why is this not an actual thing?' Meaning the skins already out he just wishes the concept is what the final skin looked liked

Would have been far easier if he had just outright said that to begin with. These one line posts are starting to bother me.
