Ky'Sinh, The Void Parasite
First off, I gotta give credit where it’s due. Shout out to Simon Dubuc, he inspired me to make this champion. I’ve always thought a parasite/leech themed champion would be cool in league, and his concept art for a parasite gave me this idea. Go check him out, his art is great! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/DQD69 Also shoutout to my sister Miriam for helping me get the lore in order and finishing/touching up this concept.
(In case you just want to read this for fun or whatever, you can skip the Monsters stats. That is mainly for reference as to what his potential is and if he is balanced enough)
Lore: Under champion overview: Ky'Sinh emerged from the ashes of the newly decimated town. It paid no attention to the void portal that brought it here, for it had only one thought on his mind: feed. It selected his first of many victims, latching on to the unsuspecting beast. Sinking its pincers and teeth into the creatures skull, Ky’Sinh could feel the beasts will fading, and becoming his. Not only would this creature provide food, but it would also provide transportation and defense. Ky’Sinh would use this host as its own body, controlling it to go and do as he pleases, until the host would eventually be sucked dry. Then it would be time to look for a new victim.
Bio: The carriage rattled on the uneven road. If not for the noise of the carriage, the only thing you would hear was the buzzing of mosquitoes. "No noble should ever have to travel in such horrendous conditions" sniffed the only occupant of the carriage, as he batted away a mosquito. Suddenly, the man's weight was sent smashing into the opposite side of the carriage, as it came a screeching halt. "Wha- what is this?!" The noble blustered. "What is going on! Gerald!" One of the guardsmen moved to the carriage "There seems to be a dead carcass in our way" "Then get it out of the way!!!" He screeched. Patience was not a strong suit of this noble. "Of course, right away sir" Gerald replied before trudging away. Gerald did not like working for this sorry excuse for a noble. He was fat and insufferable. And he didn't even pay well. Perhaps it was time to find a new job post, the guardsmen thought. His thoughts were soon ripped away, as the stench of the rotting carcass tore through him. This thing reeks, he thought. Laying in the middle of the road was the stinking carcass of a deer. There was something awfully wrong about it though, it looked a bit shrivelled, and seemed to have a slight purplish tint to it. He didn't fancy the idea of moving it. Although it wasn't huge, it was big enough to block the cart. It would take both of the guardsmen to move it. "Let's get this over with" Reinald directed to his brother in arms "Gerald, you grab that side, I'll take this side." Gerald grudgingly obliged, and was about to pick up the beast when he noticed...something on its head. He reached for the head to get a better look. "What in the blazes..." In the carriage, the noble was thinking on how comfortable his bed at home was. Heck, even the chairs were more comfortable than the seat on this pathetic excuse for a carriage. He sighed, annoyed with this situation, and then wondered what could be taking them so long to move the stupid carcass. Not only was it annoying, having to wait to get going again, but the stench was horrible. He never thought a dead animal could smell so bad. He was about to voice his annoyance, when there was a shriek, followed with a bit of yelling shuffling outside. "G-gerald?" He stuttered nervously. Silence. "Reinald..?" Only the buzzing of mosquitoes would bother to reply. With the most courage he's ever shown, the noble slowly pulled back the curtains of the carriage and peeked out. "Gerald! Why didn't you answer me?!" The noble said with obvious irritation. Gerald was standing, just staring about him. But something was off... When he turned to look at the noble, his eyes seemed glazed over. Perhaps it was the lighting, but he also seemed to have a purple tint in his skin...And something on the back of his head! That's when the noble noticed Geralds sword was drawn, and stained red... "G-gerald!" The noble looked over the guardsman's shoulder, just noticing the dead bodies of the carriage driver and the other guard. "What i- what is this?!" He blundered. Instead of answering, the guard took a shaky step forward. And then another. With every step becoming steadier and faster. "Gerald I command you to stop!" The noble shrieked, stumbling backward. The guard stood over the fallen noble, raising his sword...
Ky'sinh soon scurried away from the scene, to find stronger and tastier prey.
Information: Melee, normal build would be Juggernaut. Could build whatever if he plans on ulting a fed enemy champion, like building full ap and then ulting the fed Veigar. Relies on Monsters for damage, health, and other stats. His damage is adaptable, and whichever type of damage is increased more the base stats will focus on that type of damage. Ky’Sinh would be a more difficult champion to master, but in reality the average player could pick him up and get the hang of it. For the Ky’Sinh mains, they would know what creature to infest at what times, secure drake and herald, and could build him perfectly to fit their needs. Base Stats: Health: 530 Health Regen: 4 (8 when on a creature, which heals Ky’Sinh, not the creature). Mana: 270 Mana Regen: 7 (10 when on a creature). Range: 125 Attack Damage: 70 Attack Speed: .63 Armor: 24 Magic Resist: 30 Movement Speed: 335
Abilities: Passive- Parasite If a non-epic monster dies in Ky'Sinh’s presence, leaves a dead corpse for 10 seconds that will allow Ky'Sinh to take over. Once it takes over a dead corpse, it has its basic moves replaced with the new host. Can only infest monsters in its level range. Once the monsters health runs out, Ky'Sinh jumps off his target, and regains his normal moves. Takes 1 second to infest monster, and is canceled if CC'd. Host lasts for 2 minutes. Drakes and Champions require Ult. Q- Just a Taste Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds; Mana Cost: 20/25/30/35/40. Bites an enemy, dealing physical damage. If the target is stunned, rooted, binded, etc..., Ky'Sinh holds onto them until they are not CC’d. Holding on to them drags them with you, but slows you by 90/80/70/60/50% movement speed. Just a Taste starts cooldown after the dragging ends. W- Scurry Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds; Mana Cost: 50/55/60/65/70. Dashes in a direction, but cannot dash over a wall. If you are holding on to an enemy, drags them with you, but reduces the range in half. Can only scurry over a wall while not dragging a creature with him. E- Infected Claws Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds; Mana Cost: 30/30/40/40/50 For the next 4/4/5/5/6 seconds, your basic attacks infects the enemy, dealing magic damage over time and gives them a stack of infection per hit. Once the target has 3 stacks, they become paralyzed for 2 seconds (practically stuns them). A target cannot be stunned again for 4 seconds. R- Infest Cooldown: 180/160/140 seconds; Mana Cost: 100/110/120 After 2 seconds of crawling onto the target, Ky’Sinh infests a dead champion (both enemy and/or ally) Drake, or Rift Herald. While latched on to a champion, replaces basic moves with theirs, and while latched on to a drake or herald, replaces moves with the moves mentioned below. Ky’Sinh can only be latched on for 30/45/60 seconds, and has an extra bar of health equal to the latched target (similar to Kled) which does not regen health. If latched target runs out of health, Ky'Sinh jumps off of the target and is untargetable for the time while jumping.
Monster Stats: Level 1 and up: (Cooldown and Mana Cost is the same as original moves). Gromp: Gromp would be a Tankier creature, and most damage would come from his abilities. Would be a great choice for early on, allowing him to farm in the jungle pretty easy. Q- Shoots tongue out, dealing physical damage and slowing the first enemy hit. W- Jumps into a targeted location, dealing physical damage and slowing enemies hit. E- Next three attacks deal bonus AP and counts as spells (Being blinded or disarmed doesn’t prevent his attacks, but silences do). Large Raptor: Large Raptor would be a high damage creature, and most damage would come from basic attacks. Would be a nice on to get before going for an objective like turret or drake even. Q- For the next 4/5/6/7/8 seconds, your basic attacks are ranged, and burns enemies for 2 seconds, dealing extra magic damage. W- Summons 1/2/3/4/5 small raptors to assist in your attacks. E- Screeches, increasing movement speed and attack speed for you and raptors for 4 seconds. Scuttler: Scuttler would be a tank, dealing less damage but has high resistance and CC. Would be a great monster to infest when you are going to gank a lane. Q- Dashes in a direction, taunting enemies hit. W- Chomps at an enemy, dealing physical damage and if it's an enemy champion with a potion in his inventory, breaks it and regains 20 HP (refillables loss 1 stack). E- If Scuttler is below 20% health, can use this move. Increases armor and magic resist by 50% for 5 seconds. 2-Headed Wolf: Wolf would be like an assassin, with high burst damage but less resistance and consistent damage. Would be a good choice if your going to gank mid, but the enemy mid-laner has CC. Q- Bites enemy, dealing physical damage healing some HP. W- Pounces in a direction, dealing physical splash damage. E- Roars, removing all CC forms, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies nearby.
Level 6: (The Buffs are unlocked for his passive at level 6) Blue Buff: Blue Buff would be a major tank, dealing little damage but able to absorb a lot of it. Would be good for a team fight, and your team lacks a front-line. Q- Slams down, knocking all enemies up in a radius. W- Next 3 attacks deals more physical damage, does splash damage and slows enemies hit by 30% for 2 seconds per hit. E- Converts 10% of remaining mana into a shield, lasting for 4 seconds (shield size depends on amount of mana drained). Red Buff: Red Buff would be a mix of damage and durability. Would be good for a team fight and your trying to secure a kill to infest an enemy. Q- Whacks an enemy, and roots them in place for 1 second. W- Lunges forward, stops when hits an enemy and throws them over his back. E- Drains 10 mana per second, making his attacks burn enemies, dealing magic damage. Ocean Drake: Ocean would be a good drake to get if Baron it up, allowing a lot of objective pressure in Baron pit, and can knock enemies back. Q- Sprays water, knocking enemies back. W- Flies over to an area, but it's a small range. E- Passively gains increased movement speed, mana and health regen while in the river. Mountain Drake: Mountain would be good for tower pressure. It gives more resistance if near a terrain and CC for if the enemy stays too long. Q- Shoots out a rock, stunning enemies in an area. W- Same for all of them. E- Passively gains 20% armor while near terrain. Infernal Drake: Infernal would be good for team fighting anywhere. Has plenty of damage and crowd damage, and even sustain in some scenarios. Q- Spits out a fireball, dealing magic damage and burning all enemies hit in a large AOE. W- Same as always. E- Passively, burns heals him from what the damage would have been. Cloud Drake: Cloud Drake would be good for a more supportive play. Its able to maneuver in a fight and CC enemies. Q- Blows a tornado in a direction, dealing magic damage and knocking enemies up for 1 second. W- Same as always. E- Passively has 20% bonus movement speed, and allies nearby gain 10% movement speed. Elder Drake: Elder would be good for late game and if you have a bunch of previous drakes, you get even more buffed. Q- Shoots out a blue fire in a straight line, dealing magic damage and applies a curse to all enemy champions hit. Curse is as followed (Ratios are for amount of drakes slain): If you have slain an Ocean Drake- Drops targets Health and Mana regen to 3/2/1 for 4/5/6 seconds. If you have slain a Mountain Drake- Targets losses 10%/20%/30% Armor and Magic resist for 4/5/6 seconds. If you have slain an Infernal Drake- Targets deal 10%/20%/30% less damage for 4/5/6 seconds. If you have slain a Cloud Drake- Targets losses 40%/60%/80% movement speed for 4/5/6 seconds. W- Same as always. E- Has the Passives from all the drakes, based on the ones your team has slain. E- Gives the buffs like the other drakes E, but is based on which drakes you have slain. Rift Herald: (After it has been released and dies for a second time. No Herald vs. Herald.) Would be good for continuing tower pressure. Makes a split-pushing Ky’Sinh a dangerous threat. Q- Slices in front of him, dealing physical and magic damage. W- Charges forward, knocking up enemies nearby if it hits a terrain or turret and deals physical damage (deals damage to the turret based on bonus HP). E- Covers up the Eye for 4 seconds.
Interactions: Turns the host to a purpley color (or a different one, dependent on skin), and as the host slowly decays, making movement seem more forced and difficult. Could also make remarks like “Oh, this looks delicious” or “Eh, too skinny” when it passes by or kills a creature. After the host dies he could say something like “that was… delicious” or “Eh, it was tasty while it lasted”. He could have a funny interaction with other void champions like “Oh, so thats what I would taste like” or “Even though we are brothers, you still taste good”.
Skins: Zombie Ky'Sinh (Would turn the host greenish and zombie-like) Mecha Ky'Sinh (Would turn the host into a robotic look) Death Blossom Ky'Sinh (Would have petals on the host) Guardian of the Sands Ky'Sinh (Would make him look more like a tick) Golden Idol Ky'Sinh (could be apart of a Temple Exploration skin-line, with maybe Exploration Ryze, Ezreal, Teemo, Poppy, and Sivir; Temple Guardian Alistar, Nautilus, Malphite, Galio, and/or Nasus; Ancient Ruler Aatrox or Azir; Ancient Warrior Hecarim, Kayle, Kalista, Nocturne, and/or Sion; and Worshipper Illaoi. Ky'Sinh would be liked a cursed idol.) Ebirah (Kaiju) Ky’Sinh (It's a shrimp. Would be cool, and add to the Kaiju skin-line)
Sorry it was so long, I had to not only make a pretty intricate champion, but also make stats for almost every monster. Anyways, hope it was worth the read.
