Reducing LP Loss For teams that play the match and lose a 4v5. , 3v5, etc.
Hey guys I was in a match some hours ago and experienced a match most of you guys hate , a RQ after first death in under 10 mins. In League any match is winnable , but you might have disadvantages. With that being the case, I was wondering what you guys think about LP reduction loss instead of the full LP loss you would get after a 4v5 being played out? I know that some players would just say " Why didn't you FF and just moved on?" or " Oh your one of those players that like to waste time, and keep people hostage." For me and others out there, there are people that would like to play the match instead of wait for constant Queue dodges over and over again, also seeing what your abilities are even in a "sticky situation" I have brought this up with a ticket and was asked to bring it to boards and see what you guys would think if instead of losing the LP you earned so hard to get in a match that another player just RQ, or just didn't really care and left the game leaving it to a 4v5. Wouldn't it be better to lose half the LP because of that? In my experiences playing league, I play to have fun, try not to tilt ( impossible with games like these) , and try to better myself and learn from my mistakes. But on the other hand I don't think we should be punished fully because of a person just saying oh screw it, we lost, then RQ after dying. I understand the Early FF / Remake but it stops @ the 3 min mark. If someone leaves at 4 mins, its " oh well too bad, no remake." Even though there are players out there that are like I don't care for 1 match up that's bad, I have the skills to get it back and even 10x folds. But there are players ( like me ) that are trying to improve our own skills, and have it reflected with or against us. Knowing your own mistakes, is the 1st priority thing, but not being given a unforgiven loss or even a slight reduction LP loss is there. Its just Hey you lose 16-21 LP in a 4v5 odds against you, deal with it. It just seems like people give up / Grief so fast when its a 4v5, which makes it harder to climb out of low ranks. For Diamond players if they early surrender/ remake a 4v5 they get hit with a penalty I believe ( I think I read it on the remake information) . Which is a nice idea because it helps them improve and better themselves as a player.
