What ever happened to the Ahri statue?

I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one really hyped when I found out about the statue, then it was delayed due to Riot reconstructing the face, and that was months ago and I haven't heard any news since then. So does anyone have any news about the statue at all?

As far as I know, there hasn't been any updates on it at all since they pulled it to work on it more. I personally wish riot would just contract with Japanese figure companies to make their figures since they actually know what the hell they're doing...
