Ideas for harder Bot Games
So I want to say right off that I realize Riot will probably not do anything to Bots. They have a lot of stuff to work on that is probably more important. Also I am not a programmer so I do not know how hard certain things are to code for or create. That being said I have a few ideas that could be somewhat easily implemented to make a harder difficulty of bots.
All these basically stem from the idea of keep the AI program led the same but let it cheat in various ways to overcome that skill gap. I see this a lot from harder AI in strategy games. The AI will be given more starting resources or faster resource generation, there units are all around better versions of yours so the player must manage their units better. While this design decision isn’t perfect I do think it helps extend the lifetime of playing against AI, which can be nice for a variety of reasons.
If this was to be implemented to League the bonuses given to the AI should try to make players better at the game, not just better at cheesing the AI. To this end I have a few ideas of things to give the AI.

Increased Passive Gold Generation and EXP. I don’t remember the AI being especially good at CSing, on top of that they never have a jungler of a true sup. That means the most of the AI team is running on lower than normal Gold. This would have the added benefit of punishing players for not ending games fast enough, allowing the AI a chance to passively catch back up.

Better base stats than players and/or a percentage increase to overall damage(like a free fire Drake). This change would mean that if both player and AI had equal items, the AI would win if the player can’t outplay the AI encouraging more skill and helping the AI through the early game somewhat.

Greater starting Gold This combined with higher base stats would increase the AI’s damage early on meaning that players are less likely to easily kill the AI early in laning phase to snowball out of control.

Straight up damage reduction from everything. This would just be to make the AI tankier but would probably need to be something small like 3-5%.

Increased Gold from killing players and towers. This change would encourage good play from players while punishing bad play. Pretty straight forward.
That was all I could come up with but the general idea of them would be to increase the AI’s early game presence to make player snowballs more difficult while giving the AI more ways back into the game if it falls behind. I tried to come up with relatively fair ideas but I don’t really know how much extra gold would be fair to give to AI without overpowering them and making the game into turtle until 6 items to beat the AI. That would be the thing to try to avoid with these changes as that doesn’t encourage good play styles from players.
