Champion Mastery Blue Essence Idea

Blue essence is currently only obtainable through Hextech crafting right now. This means that in order to get any essence, you must first get a loot crate and key, open that crate, and then get a champion shard. If you're similar to me in the matter that you've only gotten 1 champion shard throughout the entirety of using hextech crafting, you have almost 0 ability to get level 6, nevermind level 7 champion mastery.

A proposal: Why not make it so that you also gain some form of blue essence (Whether it be champ specific or actual permanent blue essence) for each time you get an S ranking on a champ. This would help out alot of people that are just getting into the system, as well as people who are one trick ponies.

I know that Riot is currently planning to add the ability to buy champion shards in a later patch, but this is still BUYING rather than earning, which isn't what champion mastery should reflect.
