Champion idea: Glacio The Guardian of Ice
Glacio The Guardian of Ice Support/Tank (melee)
Passive: Curse of the Guardian: all cc affects have 1.5 effectiveness on Glacio
Q. Frostbolt: cost (40/50/60/70/80) mana CD( 11/10/9/8/7 ) after a short delay Glacio fires a blast of ice magic from his staff at a target location that explodes and marks all targets hit for 3 seconds and deals 75/115/135/165/185 (+30% Ability power) as magic damage and slows enemy's by 30/35/40/45/50% for .5/.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds
W. Frozen Assault: cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana CD (16/14/12/10/8) (CAN ONLY DASH TO CHAMPIONS) On allies: leaps to an ally creating a destructible ice dome on arrival that blocks enemy abilities for 50/75/100/125/150 (+6/7/8/9/10% of Glacios max health) or for 2 seconds. Allies AND enemies can walk through the ice dome (Functions similar to Morgan's black shield that if an ability destroys the dome the ability continues for full range) (Can be self casted, if self casted slight delay on creation, I imagine the animation of him spinning his staff and slamming it on the ground) On enemies: leaps to enemies and deals 60/85/115/140/165 (+20% ability power) magic damage. If the enemy is marked; stuns for 2 seconds (at all ranks) AFTER BEINGG STUNNED THERE IS A 6 SECOND LOCK OUT UNTIL THEY CAN BE STUNNED AGAIN
E. Blessing of the Blizzard: Cost: 100 at all ranks CD (30/26/22/18/12) summons a cleansing ground for .25/.5/.75/1/1.25 seconds which removes cc from any ally when walked in or cast upon them (think GP W in a small aoe form) (this ability also cleanses ONLY 1 CC if they ally is CCD after they have received the benefit from the cleansing ground, DOES NOT refresh.) ability does not affect Glacio unless he is ulting ( see R for details )
R: Guardians Ascension Cost: 5 Charges CD(at 5 charges Glacio can ult) Charge system: (instantly gains 5 charges upon lvling ability at lvls 6/11/16) Glacio gains 2 Charges when he gets an assist and 1 charge per kill. Glacio can hold up to 5 charges Glacio harnesses his guardian powers and after a 2/1.5/1 second channel. If Glacio is interrupted during the channel "Guardians Ascension" is set to a 10second CD. Nearby allies are instantly healed for 50/75/100 (+50 per nearby ally champion). Glacio then Sprouts ice wings and ignores collision with ALL terrain. Gains 10/20/30% movement speed and Abilities gain additional affects. For 10 seconds Q.: if q hits enemy champion cd is reset W. CD IS SET TO 1.5 seconds Allies: slightly bigger shield Enemies: deals aoe Magic dmg on arrival E. Can now be self cast on Glacio
Concept/ idea behind champion
I wanted a melee, tank support that thrives in the chaos of a team fight. I also wanted his kit to feel interactive and unique. Now at first glance his kit seems a bit overhauled, and I know 100% that numbers need to change on this current version of the kit. But this is my first time theory crafting for a champion so be gentle. I thought the charge system on his ult was a fun idea that he WANTS to help his team and make them look good, hence why he gains more charges on assist. Also to provide some counter play and some breathing room to deal with him I made his passive hurt him, I feel like the concept that he jumps into the fight to aid others comes at a great risk and if you want to succeed you have to choose the perfect opportunity to ult. Basically if you cc him you can manage him, but if you don't prepare to be styled on. I also gave him a "bad" passive because of all the elements I included in his kit. Cough E Cough I actually strongly considered he take enhanced dmg as well but I wanted to see what others thought of the concept as well.
