Possible ways how to make zoe's Q easier to balance.

So, I was playing against a zoe who was pretty bad. She would miss 90% of her abilities on me, but when she did hit. Id nearly be one shot. During the game I obviously was a little salty, but thought of a way that could possibly make zoe's Q a little easier to balance thus making her kit more easy to balance. While making it rewarding for good zoe players.

Im going to just use numbers. that I think would be "balanced" But they could be changed around to balance it more.

Zoe shoots a star in the target direction that collides with the first enemy hit, dealing magic damage in a small area; reduced to 80% to enemies hit beyond the first. If Zoe hits an enemy with Paddle Star. Paddle star will gain 25% extra damage. This can be stacked 3 times. If zoe misses she will lose her stacks. The total damage is increased by 0%-150% (based on distance traveled)

If the star does not hit an enemy, it lingers at maximum range for 1 second. If an enemy procs it zoe will gain 1 stack.

While the star is out, zoe can reactivate paddle star to redirect it to a new location near her, resetting its damage modifier on cast. The redirected star can travel beyond the new target location, continuing forward until it moves more than 800 units from zoe.

Target range: 800 Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana CoolDown 8.5/8/7.5/7/6.5 minimum magic damage: 10-60 (based on level)(+40/60/80/100/120) (+55% ap) Each stack adds 25% more damage stacking 3 times. If zoe misses she loses her stacks.

(_if you_wanted the losing stacks to be less punishing you could add a max of 4 stacks, and having each stack increase damage by 19%, but on death you lose 2 stacks. Less punishing, but equally as rewarding to those who position better, and land q's).

SO to me, these seems like it would be easier to balance. With her Q as it is in game right now.At level 5 with 400 AP, her q will do at least 390 damage. With her Q with what I came up with. At max stacks It will deal at least 430 damage. With no stacks It will deal 340 damage. So missing a Q only punishes the player with at least a 50 damage loss. And at max stacks rewards the player with at least 40 damage.

What do you guys think of this? Like I said, I just used numbers I think would work well. But the primary goal of this Reworked Q would to make it easy to balance her Q. There are more variables to play with. Thus you can make more fine tweaks to it. This was not meant to be a request. Just an idea, which maybe a riot employ will see. And get even more ideas from this. What inspired me to make this post was Actually novas Snipe ability in heroes of the storm. There is a talent that increases damage for each snipe hit, but you lose all stacks when you miss.

cap her q damage to 50% of the target's max health, just like veigar's ult, but his is 35%. also nerf her bubble, if someone autos or attacks you while drowsy, it should cancel the sleep overall.
