The Wonder Above: Ao Shin, Bard, or Another
So, everyone seems to think that this new champion is A Bard, or just named Bard. I don't have any speculation on whether it will be a support or not.
People also think that it will be Ao Shin (which would be cool).
I think that instead of him/her having to be a bard, that the champions lore has to do with bards. Since bards tell stories, this champion may be ancient. Also, Lunar Revel is winding down, Ao Shin is a Chinese themed Dragon. Riot has released a teaser right by Chinese New Year. The bards could be telling stories of ancient beasts that protected the land as they prepare for the harsh winter coming in the "floating" villages.
For those who think that it will be a support, *"Ao Shin embodies this elemental duality, capable of raining good fortune on his allies and, in the very next breath, bringing stormy, thunderous ruin upon his foes." * So, there you have a support/damage-dealing concept possibility.
I also like the idea that these symbols of the Mask Constellation might stay in SR, and are not just there to serve as teasers to the New Champion, and the champion will be able to interact with these symbols.
For those who wish for a Jungler, what if the jungler had a passive ability, but when he neared these symbols, was able to use an active, or maybe gained a buff near these symbols.
The symbol itself is the Mask Constellation. Any speculation on what that means for this champion? Riot said on The Wonder Above's page that "There was a time, not long ago, when this constellation was absent from the sky." It seems that it is something recent that has come about. A factions rise to dominance in power? Leave your ideas below.
Edit: Also, there is mention that the frozen watcher signals the end of the harvest and that they must prepare for winters lash. This is somewhat similar to Shin meaning a "rising storm." Maybe there is a frost related tragedy coming.
