With the new hero being released for Battlerite. Finally I can show why New Taric Rework is bad.

For the Taric mains out there, who misses smash the ground like Thor? Who misses the Paladin Gem Knight Concept? Who still would like to see a tankier Taric that can still be of use in other lanes like how Shen can go support or top lane?

In case no one has heard Battlerite released a hero called Ulric. Some paladin sick look guy. If you search youtube right now for his spotlight he has the alternate theme that Taric may have been given. Because I do remember Riot Games arguing about 2 paths to go with the rework.

Point here is I believe a really amazing theme was missed all because Riot Games decided to link him with Targon. It makes good sense for his lore, but in terms of themes I think I would have preferred that Taric would have looked something like Ulric. Keeping the shield and mace/hammer.

Anyone wanna add to this or would we rather make a new champion with the theme.

If you're looking for an opinion from a Taric main I will give you mine. the way tarics kit sits now is the best for him imo, his ult and e are are sometimes the only way to turn around a teamfight or even a game. I feel as though his kit is the only one capable of changing a game other then leona. I feel that introducing a Brawler style support that has one job. To kick peoples teeth in would be an interesting concept.

Honestly a new champion with this theme sounds supper cool because another Taric rework isn't going to happen.[poppy-wink]

I think his skill floor became too high after the rework compared to before. Even as a new player I could play old Taric so easily, because all he really did was use the stun. Now I kinda struggle with positioning and landing stuns on the new Taric. I'm trying to play him more to improve though.

ulric visually looks more like what I'd expect taric to look like before he acended mount targon since armor is very reminicent of demacian armor
