Golon, The Goblin Thief Hey everybody, I am Xerave and this is my third champion concept that I have posted here. Now there are a lot of mythical creatures in the world of Runeterra. These creatures span from minotaurs, trolls, and even little furry rats that kill you with poison.... But, I've noticed a lack of certain creatures in Riot's world of Runeterra, and one of them is the goblin. Enter Golon, a prime example of what a goblin should be. A greedy little monster who can be a pesky annoyance. The concept of Golon is that he is a tank able to be played in the top lane, jungle, or as a support (whichever one you like best, trust me it'd work). However, unlike most tanks, Golon happens to have a high risk high reward system that comes with his kit as he is capable of snowballing into a tanky pest early in the game. Well anyway, lets get into the details of the very greedy little guy known as Golon, The Goblin Thief.

>--------- "Goblins have plagued the world of Runeterra for as long as anybody can remember. They are small, green, and above all else, greedy. Goblins always seem to cause trouble, sneaking around and stealing anything they see and find interesting or valuable, causing people to always chase them out and keep them away. However, there is one goblin in particular that's legend has persisted the test of time. Golon, like most goblins, was a greedy being. However, his greed surpassed that of any goblin that was known. Golon would horde anything that he found, whether it was useless junk or highly valuable treasure. His greed was so great, that it actually managed to scare the other goblins away from him, leaving him all alone with his treasure. But for Golon, this was what paradise felt like. One day while Golon was going through a town sneaking around and looking for treasures to steal, he managed to spot a large tower on the horizon. Knowing stories of castles and towers with great treasure inside from books he had stolen, Golon rushed in the direction of the spire. Upon reaching the tower, Golon managed to slip through into the tower and searched the entire place. Golon found no treasure however and became very angry. But as he was about to wreck the whole place, Golon stumbled upon a room with something interesting inside. inside the room was a single pedestal with a band inside. Golon could not resist the temptation to steal the band and attempted to climb up the pedestal. However, right before he was about to take the band, the mage who lived within the tower catacombs found the goblin. Upon finding Golon, the wizard cast the goblin out of his tower. But, Golon had gotten what he wanted. Golon had taken the band before he was removed from the tower. Instantly wanting to put it on his arm, the band merged with Golon upon contact. In a fit of rage that his precious treasure had vanished, Golon discovered he was now capable of using magic. Now the small green monster guards his treasure fiercely, destroying any who dare look upon his 'shinies'. " Whats mine is mine, and everything is mine!"- Golon

ABILITIES Passive-- Goblin's Greed Golon is the greediest of them all, because of this he really doesn't want to give the shopkeeper his hard earned gold. Every time Golon participates in a kill (whether Golon got the kill or he just got an assist) he gains a stack of Greed. If Golon manages to gain 5 stacks of greed, he is able to trade in those 5 stacks at the shop to steal an entire item from the shopkeeper (greed caps at 5 stacks). However, if Golon dies while he has any ammount of greed stacks, he will lose every stack.

Q -- Midas Touch Golon has the ability to turn anything he wishes into gold. upon activating, Golon will run blindly at a target location and cannot change his coarse. When Golon creates contact between himself and an enemy champion, he turns them into gold, rooting them for 3 seconds and dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+ 30% AP) magic damage. Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Cooldown: 20/17/14/11/9 Max Range: 500 units

W -- Gold Reinforcement Golon coats himself in gold in order to protect himself from incoming damage. When activated, Golon will turn gold and all damage he takes will be reduced by 50% for 5 seconds. After the duration, Golon's golden coating will crack and burst, slowing enemies by 55% for 2 seconds and dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+25% AP) magic damage. Mana Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 Effect Radius: 500

E (Passive)-- Live For The Shinies! There is a reason Golon has been alive for so long. Golon's greed has gone so far as to sustain him, increasing his health regeneration whenever he currently has 1000 or more gold. For every 1000 gold Golon has, he gains health regeneration equal to .2% of his max HP every second while out of combat. However if he is hit by any non-minions, Golon's regeneration is halted for 9 seconds. Mana Cost: None Cooldown: 9

R -- Use The Shinies! Golon searches through his treasury for items to use in the fight. Golon pulls out a magical golden whistle. Upon blowing the whistle, Golon summons an enormous golden dragon to come down from the sky at a target location, having it flap it's giant wings and blow enemies backwards, dealing 140/180/220 (+60% AP) magic damage (the blow back effect blows enemies back by the same range as the dragon was summoned). Mana Cost:100 Cooldown: 140/130/120 Max Summon Range: 2000 Units Blow Back Effect Radius: 500 Units Max Blow Back: 2000 Units

pretty creative. the passive seems strong but thematically appropriate and the 5 stack limit is fair.

q should deal more damage and root for less. e is worse that useless, you would need 4000 gold to even have garen's passive. lower the amount of gold required to gain regeneration - 0.5% HP per 100 gold seems appropriate, but it would be better if you just gave him another active ability as opposed to a boring regen passive

the drawing is pretty good too
