Champion Name: Umbra, The Messenger Of The Night Role: Mage/Assassin Introduction: This is only my second champion concept and obviously I'm no expert on creating them but I really do like this one. Umbra, The Messenger Of The Night, is a unique combination of a zoning Mage and an Assassin (Think almost like zed if he were a mage). I will admit I did make the mistake of making the champion design before I created his name, abilities, and lore but what I came up with was interesting. I began by thinking of Mage/Assassin champions and began thinking. My idea was that as far as I know, there is no Zoning Mage that has attributes of an Assassin (zoning and then slipping in and out of a fight to kill). However, There is an Assassin with a skillset similar to a Zoning Mage in Katerina. Anyways, please enjoy my champion concept of Umbra, The Messenger Of The Night.

LORE Umbra is a being as old as Ionia itself, predating all current civilizations or tribes. However he is not a mystical beast or deity, he is a man. Umbra was born to one of the oldest civilizations in Ionian history of which it's name has been lost to time. The residents of this place were adept in magic and were very close to the land and it's inhabitants. Being the case, Umbra was taught in the ways of mage craft early in his life, becoming adept and a prodigy as a mere child. Umbra would go on to be known as a hero, fighting against evil hordes, Battling sinister beasts, and defending that which he held dear very fiercely. However, when the moon would come and the sky would give way to night, Umbra became peculiar. The man would seclude himself and sit solemn as he stared intently at the night as if he were having a conversation with the stars themselves. Some believed he derived his power from the night, others believed that he was born of the night itself. However, the truth was far different. One night a cloaked figure approached Umbra as he stared intently at the night sky. As it spoke he recognized its voice somehow and listened to it. The figure explained how Umbra was meant for great things as "The Messenger of the Night". Not completely understanding, Umbra accepted the cloaked one's task. As he did though, the cloak engulfed him and filled Umbra with knowledge and power that no other mortal had ever had access to. Upon discovering a powerful spell book within the cloak, Umbra disappeared from his home, becoming a legend over the centuries. Now it is said that if one sees Umbra upon nightfall, it means that great tragedy is soon to occur as he stands in the dark, reading from his spell book in tongues never before heard by those of Runeterra. With Umbra appearing more and more often, there is no telling what devastating message he has to deliver....

The passive quite definitely should have a range, having a near permanent kayn E? The passive is extremely powerful in itself.

Q is a reactive invulnerability spell that offers a really high amount of mobility too, again really powerful, does it go through walls too though? Does it even matter when he already has that passive?

W is a line skillshot that slows, no extreme mechanics, simple and nice ability, I guess.

E is just damage? It sounds like a shield similar to Sion or Leona W.

What exactly is the "wave" in the ult? Is it a wave like Nami's ult? Is it a ripple effect all around Umbra? Is it a cone?

So what role is this guy? Is he a burst mage with really really high mobility? Is he a slightly lower range, but very high damage battle mage?
