Quick idea I had earlier today that I threw together. I think Nano-bots would be great for Zac, having them fall off him and reattach themselves, his movement could be a bit more fluid, even his sling shot could be the bots flowing to one spot and reconstructing him instead of him flinging himself. Thoughts?

Other then that it would be cool to have his movement similar to Lissandra's where the bots constantly flow around his feet / gliding him forward. For his abilities have small metal bots fly out instead of goo, his ult would look like a scene from big hero 6, his recall could have the bots fly upward, deconstructing him then rebuilding him at fountain, etc.

But zac him self is still a recolor aka chroma.
You literally can do what you are talking about with any chroma for zac. Why not just save some money and get a chroma pack and 3 colors for cheaper.
Shoobert1 votesDefinitely agree with you if left as I had made it. The illustration I put was more for a visual aid then a final product. It would have to be redone and done well to justify a 1350 - 1820 price point, which I'm willing to work on. Even then, Zac as a champ might not be popular enough to justify that kind of release.
Angry Monster1 votesMy point is that their is nothing to do to zac outside of Chroma or stupid expensive effects. Yes you can make some impressive stuff with a model that bends everywhere(recall) and charge an arm for it, but what about reasonable price point?
Zacs one skin is barely worth 975. All that it reads to me is purple instead of green. I think Zac is a badly designed (appearance ) character. Conceptually he is fine til you try to give more. Look at naut's latest skin, its amazing for 775. I personally have stopped using astro-naut for it. Nothing like that skin will come out for Zac.

The Red Warden1 votesTo make it different take away the facial details and just make it a solid glowing red sphere. The voice would also be made more monotone to really sell that mechanical aspect. The body could also be modified to be more rounded instead of spiky, since they would need to have a solid connection to each other.
These plus the changed animations would make it a worthy 1350 skin.
Shoobert1 votesGreat ideas! Perhaps I'll flesh it out more. This was basically just thrown on top of a Zac pic pretty quickly just for a visual over being a solid final product. I'd like to take more time with it though and these are great suggestions!
